Never heard of it until now.
Never heard of it until now.
Dragon Quest VIII comes to mind right away because I was hunting PS2 games last week. I got a collector's edition from a Game Stop long time ago when they were unloading PS2/Xbox/NGC games for cheap. My friend got a copy to and we played it in tandem for a very long time. He actually beat the game, but I tired out after about 90 hours of game play (I used to keep track). I'm excited to revisit it again. I still have it.
I finally got the physical Game Informer mag to ship to me. I so miss all the mags. I used to get a bunch of them.
I want to get back and play that one some more. I keep seeing it go on sale and am tempted.
Y2K. I got a few more from the third Batman Gotham Knights comic I got. I'm putting them in the next blog.
Prices keep going up.
The only time I went to pawn shops was when I used to go on vacation in North Carolina where there were several. I was just thinking about where there might be some around where I live, but I think they are all in the city in not so great neighborhoods. I might do a search just to see though.
Yikes. Real life stories are always more scarry than any made up tale.
I just started realizing there are still mom & pop game shops in my area. I've been to all of them recently and I hear one chain I go to is expanding and opening a new location. It seems game stores are back, except for Gamestop. That place still isn't what it used to be and I rarely go there anymore.
Well, I had to look it up, but NEAT! D I S N E Y backwards. Yen Sid. I won't forget that now.
I did momentarily rage quit Undercover because i got stuck in the environment but I recosidered and reinstalled it. Controls are so much better than Lego Marvel Super Heroes and I love the humor and references.
I don't think I've even seen one in the game stores I've gone to recently. GBAs in the box go for hundreds, so that thing must be pricey . . Looks like $250 at a lot of places I just looked at.
