Wow, that's a lot of games! One of my most anticipated games was Gravity Rush 2 and I got it on launch day. So far it's really good! I imagine it's the kind of game that will slowly drop in price on Amazon but I'm glad I got it right away. I like to support that they're still bringing games like this over when I can.
I haven't paid too much attention to upcoming games, so I don't have a big list like you, but there are some tentpole releases that I'm looking forward to, Breath of the Wild being a big one. I'm also excited about Mass Effect: Andromeda (out the same month as the Switch...but infinitely easier to find, I'm sure) and Destiny 2 in the fall.
We finished up Diablo III Saturday night. We were playing on Expert, so it wasn't terribly hard but it was a great way for my wife and I to hang out online with a friend and slay some demons. We might come back later for Adventure mode but I think we're done with it for now.
I've played all the Borderlands games and I think they're a little samey to play back-to-back. They can be a lot of fun though, so I certainly wish you the best with that!
How about Ghost Trick and 999 for you
Man, on my very sporadic playthrough of Diablo III we haven't even unlocked the Paragon stuff yet o_O
The problem is that it's really built around the new controls. Like the bosses, for instance, often necessitate flying one way and shooting another, which the new controls do allow for. Whole portions of the game would have to be reworked to make more traditional controls a viable option. I would have preferred a more traditional approach but taken on its own merits, what's here is still very good.
Mankind Divided is about $23 on Amazon now, so there's really no excuse to not pick it up. And it's a shame you didn't give Skyward Sword more of a chance. It's a really great Zelda adventure!
Looks like you had a really solid year! You got through a couple games that I meant to play and didn't get to—namely the new Phoenix Wright—thanks to the end of the year being so nuts for me. I'm looking forward to digging into Splatoon!
You haven't played Shovel Knight?!?? You gotta get on that, man. It's sooo good and especially easy to appreciate for someone who has been gaming for a couple of decades.
Your opinion about Star Fox Zero seems more popular than mine but I still disagree lol.
I do have a digital copy of Tron Bonne as well and hope to play it soon!
