Yeah, I get that people love all types of games, but a lot of the negative feedback to FFXV has lamented a "dumbing down" that comes from the changes, so I addressed that reaction specifically.

I'm no big fan of FPS myself, I find them to be fairly boring as well, frankly. I mean I have had a lot of fun in Halo multiplayer matches, but I feel like it has to be the right people, and the game while fun, has less to do with it, especially since I've been just as bored playing it with the wrong people.

I do love The Office and I like my Seinfeld/Friends re-runs. That reminds me, I gotta watch Community at some point. lol

True. They are definitely changing Final Fantasy's core game mechanic a lot more than Assault changed Star Fox's, just by nature of completely revamping it as opposed to simply putting the original gameplay style on the back burner a la Assault.

In fact, it's not even that far on the back burner with Assault, there's just other stuff I felt was unnecessary in that game breaking up my favorite sections.

I wasn't saying JRPGs are about tapping at all; I'm saying Injustice is a mind numbing game of tapping, and if that type of mindless, repetitive input is what JRPG fans see in action games, I can see why they're upset by the changes made to the gameplay in XV.I understand the appeal is strategy for JRPGs, I wasn't making a comparison between Injustice and JRPGs.

As for Star Wars, I grew up watching the originals on VHS rentals and feeling kind of meh about them, and liking the prequels cause they were in theaters when I was young, but now I definitely think I'd like the originals better.

That's definitely one of the most common things to feel betrayed about though, people HATE the prequels. lol

Yup, specs comparable, price and user friendliness no comparison. Easy choice.

I actually never played the original Punch Out or this much at all, and only knew of the series cause of that Simpsons ep where Homer steals cable, but I think if I did play them, I'd be with you in liking this best. Something about that SNES art style I really dig.

I know what you mean, Ben. Sometimes I just want something silly like Monty Python, especially when people really do act like assholes in real life, and I'm asked to laugh at it.

BUT I remember liking the first few episodes when it first aired; too bad my family hated it, and would always change the channel.

I could even like the new series, it just depends on what day I'm having and in what way the characters are being assholes. lol

I thought this was ok. I saw it in college in a co-worker's room, and I found it pretty standard and predictable, but it was a decent popcorn flick and well above what most video game movies are, I'll give it that.

At least it didn't offend my senses like the sequel to Sands of Time. I LOVED Sands of Time, then they thought somehow the game would be better if they made it all "dark" and made the characters say swears. I love dark settings and storylines, but to me that was like if someone had taken that old hat joke of "what if sunny Mario met Mortal Kombat/GTA characters," made it into a real game, then told me it was a Mario sequel. Bullshit!

But yeah, I got nothing against the movie, it's fine.
