I wasn't saying JRPGs are about tapping at all; I'm saying Injustice is a mind numbing game of tapping, and if that type of mindless, repetitive input is what JRPG fans see in action games, I can see why they're upset by the changes made to the gameplay in XV.I understand the appeal is strategy for JRPGs, I wasn't making a comparison between Injustice and JRPGs.

As for Star Wars, I grew up watching the originals on VHS rentals and feeling kind of meh about them, and liking the prequels cause they were in theaters when I was young, but now I definitely think I'd like the originals better.

That's definitely one of the most common things to feel betrayed about though, people HATE the prequels. lol

I actually never played the original Punch Out or this much at all, and only knew of the series cause of that Simpsons ep where Homer steals cable, but I think if I did play them, I'd be with you in liking this best. Something about that SNES art style I really dig.

I know what you mean, Ben. Sometimes I just want something silly like Monty Python, especially when people really do act like assholes in real life, and I'm asked to laugh at it.

BUT I remember liking the first few episodes when it first aired; too bad my family hated it, and would always change the channel.

I could even like the new series, it just depends on what day I'm having and in what way the characters are being assholes. lol

I thought this was ok. I saw it in college in a co-worker's room, and I found it pretty standard and predictable, but it was a decent popcorn flick and well above what most video game movies are, I'll give it that.

At least it didn't offend my senses like the sequel to Sands of Time. I LOVED Sands of Time, then they thought somehow the game would be better if they made it all "dark" and made the characters say swears. I love dark settings and storylines, but to me that was like if someone had taken that old hat joke of "what if sunny Mario met Mortal Kombat/GTA characters," made it into a real game, then told me it was a Mario sequel. Bullshit!

But yeah, I got nothing against the movie, it's fine.

Solid list, can't really deviate too much; I need to watch more trailers to really get a handle on my favorite of favorites, but I did make a blog of the top three of the top of my head days ago.

Yeah, as the one guy here that doesn't enjoy JRPGs and is excited for FFXV for that exact reason ... I'm gonna back away slowly ... but believe it or not, I do understand your frustration. I'm a fan of the original Star Fox and Star Fox 64 style of gameplay, and that was abandoned long ago in the series, so I feel your pain (even if I did actually like Adventure and Assault).

I do like thinking and don't have ADHD, though. Even if I do get bored* too* quickly for turn-based combat.

Ah, I'm just being a dick with those spelling corrections, I know you were just upset. The point is, I like the change, but I totally understand why people are upset, and I can sympathize with that.

Yeah, well, I'm still a non-RPG-loving minority, and probably would have owned a 360 had I participated this gen so ... yeah, I guess that doesn't mean much, does it? lol

I would like a 60 gig PS3 as well; being a Nintendo fanboy growing up, I was always secretly a bit jealous of my older brother's Playstations, and I wouldn't mind having three-in-one plus the PS4.
