I don't hate maze games, they just don't crank my wheel as much as. . . let's say. . . cute 'em ups.
I've played very little of the Mega Man series because of their difficulty, but I'm going to try them again sometime. That's probably why the music thing is novel to me.
Yea, so you can finish the main story and side missions in like 25 hours, but then you can play it again on two different difficulty levels which are seriously challenging. Then there are hidden bosses, co-op, higher level weapons to find, and achievements/trophies. It's just fun to stay in the world with a buddy or two and work your way through the game on higher difficulties and tweak your gear, which changes frequently due to the large number of items that you are always finding. Plus each item you find is different and creates different effects. It's just fun to watch them at work. At one point I was all ice gear and my attacks would make it snow where ever I was fighting. It looked awesome!
Man, I like all those games and movies. I've had my eye on History Legends of War Patton for a while now, and I watched the trailer for Crash Dive and I liked that. I saw das Boot. It's funny you bring it up because I'm at a vacation spot where I watched that with my Dad years ago. I think he fell asleep during it because it's very long, but I was glued to the TV every minute. I probably saw 12 O'clock High once way back but I don't remember much about it. Need to see that again.
This book covers just the first few years of NES. It goes in chronological order so there was this section where I read about Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Mega Man, and then Metroid back to back. As the Flying Pig said in a Kids in the Hall skit, "What a lineup! Hey hey hey."
I always love to stop at the rest stop about 2/3rds the way across and look for any big ships. I wasn't driving this time, so I didn't get to do it. But I did see two enormous cargo ships from the car, one was named the Yang Ming. Unfortuneatly they were only clearly visible from behind the car after we passed them because we'd just come out of a tunnel and the sun was in front of us. Otherwise I would have wanted to capture them on the video.
When you win a level in Jawbreaker, you get to brush your tooth. Funny.
William's daughter was the only Zelda I knew of outside of the game and now Fitzgerald's wife.
Oh yea, I forgot about Treble and Bass. I've got to dig into to Mega Man games sometime.
Freedom Wars looks neato. I need more games for my Vita.
This looks really cool, even though I find pinball mechanics really frustrating. Another game for my Vita. Yes!
