PUNK TUESDAY!

Posted on 04/30/2013 at 09:33 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Love those Decline of Western Civilization documentaries, and "Time Bomb" is one of my favorites. Also like the new stuff by Bad Religion, but the video ... could have been better. I've been listening to the song "Land of Competition" a lot lately. Don't know what it is, but that song is addictive.

Can't go wrong with Black Flag, and I especially like the one you posted. Couldn't escape Rollins in college, cause my friends were so into Rollins. They even named some stupid (probably dangerous) lift they were doing in the gym after "Gun in Mouth Blues" cause it came on when they did it.

Husker Du sounds like a prelude to Nirvana there. Wait, that's cause it is. Well, anyway, influence on later Nirvana songs is really obvious there.

The part where he said "we care about you, that's why we don't give a fuck what you think" in the Circle Jerks vid made me laugh, and Minor Threat was another favorite of one of my college buddies, and I enjoyed that one you posted too, even if "fucking or playing golf" is all I understood.

Well, I'm glad you posted these, makes my wasted trip to the GM Plant this morning not seem so bad. lol

Why Virtual Console Continues to Disappoint

I wonder how making Link to the Past in the vein of Four Swords would ... actually, wait, was Four Swords in the LttP world? Never actually played it for myself.

Anyway, this is a great idea. Only problem is figuring out how to create enjoyable multiplayer experiences, which, how many of those does Nintendo have now? I'm not sold on their execution. Again though, I'm not speaking from experience, having only owned a Gamecube and DS most recently, and I'm just going off hearsay ... an internet universe full of hearsay.

Chess Master: PS2 Classics ( 4.5 out of 5 )

Well, it's certainly much deeper in content than the one we played on NES, that's for sure.

Why spoil?? (Contains ZERO spoilers for anything)

I know exactly what you mean. I felt like once the trailer was up, I had to rush through reading Catching Fire just in case someone spoiled it. Fuckers.

At least you've read Game of Thrones (I don't have HBO), but that really does suck for people watching the show who haven't.

Suikoden 2 = Love

Hotel Dusk does sound cool.

And I got back into my workout routine as well. Deadlifted this morning, and probabaly going to do a ZuzkaLight challenge at some point today (Trainer on Youtube; yes, I'm male and she's female, but the workouts are effectve either way).

Dance Central 2 is a hell of a cardio exercise though. That game winded me last time I played it!

NeverDead sounds like someone made a game out of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Well ... I have to say, you're a lot more excited about the Cowboys picks than a lot of people from here seem to be. lol

I watched Heavy Rain online, it had a decent story, but I'm still fairly certain the ending I saw was a bit of a cheat, and requires someone to be in two places at once. Halochief_90 said I was wrong, but I need to watch it again.

Bulletstorm has always sounded like a good time.

More reasons to buy a PS3, yet no more income for me. Man, I want that Sly HD Collection.

Krugman, that reminds me, I need to mint that trillion dollar coin one of these days. I've actually thought of picking up one of his and other modern economist's books, so that it's not all one perspective. We'll see how not-lazy I become in the next few days...
