Na, I haven't. It's on my radar, though. I'll pick it up instantly if I ever see it. Not only because it's Contra 4, but Wayforward made it and I enjoy their stuff.

Have you played Contra: ReBirth at all on WiiWare? That was a pretty solid Contra game. Definitely had the Contra difficulty! You can play it like an arcade game, though, and keep continuing, but if you tried to play legit it would be quite the spectacle.

That samurai girl was the only DLC character, except for Browny, that I was interested in, haha. I figured that would definitely switch up the game!

Yeah, it's definitely a tough game, there's no doubt there. I bet if I played it again right now I'd get my ass handed to me, haha.

Yeah, I came off there as not liking Hard Corps: Uprising, but what I really meant was that I was disappointed that it wasn't more like it's predeccesor. I actually really like HCU in it's own right and liked the RPG additions. I didn't buy any of the DLC characters, though.

Technology will most definitley continue to evolve in leaps and bounds, and as long as video games stay a mainstream form of entertainment then it will evolve with it. Like Joe said above, real virtual reality is around the corner. 

I wish I could be excited for snow still, but I've had my fill of it this year. I'm definitely looking forward to the Spring and Summer, even though I'm not one to wish time away.

Congrats on the reblog! I tried doing a Tumblr blog for a while, but I've decided to just let it go and keep writing stuff here. It's awesome when someone reblogs your work, though, and you get a wider audience!

I didn't have any Sega hardware as a kid, so I've never played a single Phatasy Star game. It's weird, though, because I'd usually at least run into a game like this. I saw all kinds of other Sega games, including RPGs like Shining Force, but I didn't even hear of a Phantasy Star game until I was in my 20s.

They do look fun, though, and I am a sucker for sci-fi.

Yeah, I've heard he's making them aliens or something, which is why the title of his movie is simply "Ninja Turtles".

It also had an awesome campaign as well, with lots of cheats you could unlock via achievements. I had them all, which was so difficult. What sucks is that my sister loaned out my copy to a friend of hers years ago and I never got it back. I bought another one, but I don't have the heart to unlock all the cheats again.
