That's awesome! Yeah, I love his music, so I've asked for his newest CD as a birthday present.
He kinda stretches his rhymes on "Thrift Shop," but it's so catchy and funny I forgive it. I actually found out about him by watching a video on Youtube called "Teens React to Thrift Shop." After I saw that, I started hearing that song on the radio, even my alternative station, A LOT. lol
I accepted.

Oh yeah, 1up stayed stagnant for a LONG time; this place is definitely a lot quicker with the updates.
I'm not sure how much I'll use Steam either, I need to find more cheap, low-fi stuff I'm comfortable with putting on this laptop.

And I tried shooting a request your way, but Steam isn't finding me anything when I search for ionhaf, ionhalf, IONHAF, IONHALF, or matt snee under players and groups, so I dunno what's up.
That's always cool when that happens; I think Dave Grohl did the same for first Foo Fighters.
I enjoy playing stuff like Marvel v Capcom 2 multiplayer or in an arcade, but you and I are the same in preferring fighters with strong storylines for single player. I'll have to check out this Garou if I get a chance, thanks for the comment!
I think you meant to say "except" Naruto. lol And don't worry, I couldn't tell you if I hate the series, but I am indifferent, and will likely never watch it or read the manga, so eh. Although, Game Grumps recently played a fighting game based on the franchise that looked pretty awesome, so I don't know what to tell you, really.
As for Sessler, I'm too tired to even get to whatever point misogyny was brought up, but I did like scrolling from the video and hearing a calm Vince Vaughn talk to me about God of War. And that Ninja Gaiden trailer looked cool, but I've seen it before. That's all I got. Nice to see a blog from you.
Maybe not, but I just recall enjoying it on some level. Like I said, I just enjoy fighting games that have one player experiences that break up the monotony of fights with cutscenes. Obviously, they should be skippable, but someone like myself that plays one player appreciates when effort is put into character stories beyond what's in the manual.
I can't really say if it's better or worse than other fighting games, but there's more of it than normal in my experience, and I recall enjoying it.
I owned this game and ... I actually agree. I think I'd have given it a 3, but my God did I fall a lot in this damn game. I actually did ok with just straightaways and trick sections, but the minute I tried combining the two, it was a nightmare, and overall, it did often seem a bit boring. I think multiplayer made it more fun for me, though.
I still prefer Snowboard Kids, but I also prefer arcade to sim in general, so there ya go.
