Yeah the SNES is when I really got into RPGs. FF4, FF6, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Lufia 2, and many more. It's weird that I'm not into RPGs hardly at all now. My younger self wouldn't have believed it!

I reviewed this for The Dallas Morning News back in the day. I remember the opening cinamatic being kind of funny, but the rest of the game was pretty bland as far as I can remember. The only 3-D platformers on the PlayStation I really liked were Spyro, Tail Concerto, and the Mega Man Legends series, but really 3-D platforming on the PlsyStaiton didn't get N64 caliber until Ape Escape came along (also one of my favorites). And that was nearly five years after the system launched!
I remember seeing Plotting/Flipull in many arcades when puzzlers like Tetris and Klax were big back then.
Rumor has it that Star Fox 64 was made with ideas Nintendo stole from Argonaut.
I didn't think the first Mortal Kombat movie was THAT bad. I never watched the cartoon.
I've seen the Tomb Raider movies. Only thing I remember now about the Angelina Jolie ones is that there is one scene where she punches a shark in the nose, and it runs away going "yipe yipe yipe!" Well, OK, the shark didn't go "yipe, yipe, yipe" in the movie, but it did that in my head.
I watched the new Tomb Raider movie fairly recently on television. It was OK I guess, but the only thing I remember about it now is that the lady who played Lara Croft must've been eating her spinach.
I played a little bit of Croc on a PSOne demo disc (remember those?) and I thought the controls were horrible, so I didn't mess with it after that. I've watched a lot of videos where people have fond memories of that game, though.
The story about Croc orginally being a Yoshi game is pretty interesting. Other things I've read indicate that Nintendo screwed over Argonaut in some ways, which wouldn't surprise me.
I really liked this game on the Wii U. I always said the Captain Toad sections deserved their own game, and look what happened! I'm not sure yet if I'll buy the game again on Switch, even though I am very curious about Bowser's Fury. I do have the two cat amiibo figures, though.
I remember this game being pretty popular when I was a kid. It was in nearly every arcade for a while. I kind of liked it. Even the Atari 2600 version was pretty good. I liked that you had a force field.
My brothers really like those Civilization games.
Yeah Area 51 was in a lot of places. I even saw it in grocery stores!
To be fair, I doubt too many people would notice that Operation Wolf arcade machine in the movie, much less care about its release date.
