I think you might be right, it may have been after the game came out, but I'd have to look it up. Again, goldfish memory. lol

Dammit, I forgot Viewtiful Joe! How the hell ... ? Baaaah! lol
To be fair, when it was first announced, I at least only had screenshots of its build to go by, so the fluidity thing wasn't known to me at the time.
Oh right, the French graphic novel. Man, I didn't remember that at all. Sad, I was hoping it'd do well in the States when I heard of it.
Never played Excitebike, loved Castlevania.
I also loved that Gamecube GBA add-on, got it for my birthday one year, and it helped me feel as if I was playing Metroid Fusion on an SNES.
My favorite? I'm honestly going to have to go with the boss theme prior to the final one in Sonic 3.
But holy crap, Marty Friedman was on one of these?!! He was my favorite Megadeth guitarist!
Yeah, Carey told me, since his blog is also about Bit.Trip Runner, I'll definitely look into it.
It's definitely a scary thought, and the things are cheap and easy enough to make that civilians could start using them, which is also scary.
And I'm not one to mind topics other than games being discussed, so don't worry about "getting on your soapbox," which I don't think you did.
Also, at the end I meant to say I wouldn't be surprised that it could be happening, not unsuprised, so I fixed that typo. lol
Glad to hear the website is growing.
I'm not playing anything, but if I can get Bit.Trip Runner on Steam, or find my old copy of Korg DS-10, that's what I'll be playing.
Just remember every snowflake is different ... just like every other fucking snowflake.
I'm not sure what the answer is here. Though I've said constantly I need to start a Youtube channel, I'm lazy, have no good ideas, and haven't, but I have done a fair share of stand up comedy sets, and while I have all my own material, I find myself getting nervous and taking on the inflections and mannerisms of my favorite comics when on stage.
In all honesty, I think the challenge thing is enough to help you stand out from the pack. If I were to do a Let's Play, I'd probably just ape Game Grumps but have my own friends and our own sense of humor. Frankly, I think given how oversaturated it already is, you guys are doing just enough to deviate from the norm it sounds like, otherwise I have no real advice, other than keep doing what you're doing, and as like as it's your own, it's probably original enough.
Regards,
- Carlos Mencia (but seriously, I don't think you need to worry about it)
