Good story, Zelda like, and what Zelda 2 (only Zelda game I don't like) should have been? I'm in. Especially with that interesting "medieval future" concept.

I heard about the Gamecube version, and its difficulty, a lot, and since I'm not great at these shmups, that turned me off, but hearing your impressions makes me want to try it. I get bored with these types of games as much as I suck at them usually, but that polarity mechanic may be just enough to make me want to play it.
Power Rangers was my Ninja Turtles as a kid, though I did enjoy the original cartoons (that pizza always looked delicious, we'd rent the VHSes, and my older brother had a lot of toys for it).
That game actually looks really impressive, and I wasn't aware of it until now.
Yes, Abobo, I'm aware of Gamefly, as well as the fact Red Box has games, I just don't have any new systems to use it on, and I have 33 games in my collection that I own. lol
Although, it appears Gamefly lets you rent DS games ... hmmm... lol. I'll look into that when work picks up and I can focus on things other than loans and apartment hunting. My phone bill is relatively cheap, but I'm still in "cut any and all fat" mode.
By the time the sequel came out, I'm not sure if my GAmecube was plugged in any more, but I'd love to play it some day.
I got perfect on writing as well, near-perfect on reading; math? Let's not talk of it. lol
Emma Stone is very hot, indeed. I think that's the first row of top Bing Images searches I've actually seen where I've said "I get it."
Viewtiful Joe is a fun game, hope you can play it some time.
Well, Pac-Man's a no-brainer for Smash Bros., and I love me sone Tekken and Soul Calibur, but I dunno, Digimon could work as Pokemon rivals in the game ... but yeah, probably not going to happen. lol
Other than those and Time Crisis, I haven't really played the other games (though I was aware of Klonoa, Splatterhouse, and Ni No Kuni at least) so I can't really comment on those as Smash Bros. characters.
Interesting list.
That sounds like a good time. Sometimes you want a challenge, others you just want an easy, breezy, cheesy, beautiful Cover G... game to let you relax and pour some achievements on you.
You know, I've been saying I don't have a huge backlog, but now that I think about it, I'm not sure if the percentage of games I've actually completed out of what I own is as high as I thought ... this may just become a blog. lol
But, basically, for the most part, I'm a completist in that I feel the need to at least beat the games I own to get my money's worth. But then when a game ends up being too frustrating, I feel I get nothing accomplished, cause the thing I paid for isn't fun, and I should probably just go outside and cool down. Then when the urge to play the game again creeps up, it makes the challenge fun again, after I've had some time away.
I think I've convinced myself my backlog isn't that huge by not counting anything that stopped being fun (also, sports titles you don't really "complete"), because I feel it's the game's fault at that point and not mine.
In any case, I think I might just plug the N64 in today, and if it works, try once again to get all the masks in Majora's Mask so I can feel I've really completed the game when I fight the final boss, who I've been able to fight for years, but refuse to until I collect all the masks. And, if it ends up feeling like a chore again, I'll reconvince myself not to count it. lol
That little tidbit about Batman smirking while he closes the Bat-wing on Supes made me smile. I love little humorous moments like that in games.
