I liked "Live Free Or" ok, despite that the DVD skipped near the end when we watched it. It's been a while since I saw it though, and even then, wasn't paying close attention.

I'm glad as hell I no longer work in the service indusrty, though I may take up weekend shifts at Outback again; I know how you feel.Where do you work that you "get" to deal with the public?
That's one neat looking Game Boy SP, I love that NES controller aesthetic. I have yet to complete logging the games I own, and putting what we used to have (older brother owned the NES, SNES, PS1, and PS2) in my "wish list," but even once that's done I'll have nowhere near as many games as you do! Wow! lol
I haven't been able to play even what are now most people's back log games, due to college keeping me from being able to justify the expense of last gen consoles (re: last gaming thing I own aside from Android is a DS, speaking of which I need to start getting used games for it, so I have something to talk about besides classic games lol)
Hopefully, I can get enough of a cash flow this year to adopt a WiiU or PS4, or most likely, as long as it doesn't have that used games BS, whatever Microsoft's newest is.
I love Asteroids! So simple, so fun, such a great online time waster. lol
I hear you about college, the reason I haven't bought a system past DS is college expenses, and getting paid room and board only for two/three years with Residence Life, plus loans, haven't helped.
Thank God I found my current job, and will hopefully get more steady hours.
I remember when I continued with Nintendos and my brother got a PS1, he said he did like the lack of load times on cartridges; so things have come full circle with those updates on new consoles, eh? lol
Yeah, seems 1up's/Pixlbit's community in general has the same experience with movies I do with games (I haven't played a new game in YEARS, having the last system I own being a DS), oh well.
I LOVED Avengers, but even in the one category it was in, I gave Life of Pi a slght edge (visual effects).
Ans I understand, Brave was a good movie, but I sympathized quite a bit with Silverman's character in Ralph, the way you did with the girl in Brave. Again, as I said in the blog, Brave was gorgeous, it's subjective.
Being unemployed and job hunting gave me a lot of free time last year, and I'd honestly consider it a historically good year for movies.
Sorry you couldn't see 'em.
I've been hearing Die Hard 5 was one of the worst. I love the first two, but reviews kept me away from that one.
Of course, apparently it's still a good action flick, just not really a "Die Hard'y" Die Hard movie, so I might catch it on Red Box.
We are eerily similar.
As you know I'm also 22 going on 23, I also have a radio and television degree, currently work for the video production end of a company called invodo, love creative writing and music, worked in a radio station that played Bombay Bicycle Club, M83, etc. (KSAU), and though I'm not as big a fan of Patriots, I'm big on the Boston Red Sox.
Of course I'm from Dallas, so my teams are Mavericks, Stars, Cowboys, Green Bay Packers (lots of family ties, parents are from Wisconsin), Texas Rangers, and Boston Red Sox, and Celtics, but seriously I think we'll get along. lol
I missed out on a trip to London in college for media, I still regret that.
Love it, especially the Super Smash Bros.
