Had no idea, but glad you are feeling more confident. I went through a period of depression myself.
And drag 'em on over, everyone's here anyway, they may as well!

I share your feelings on open world. I get bored without structure and a goal, otherwise I feel like I'm wandering aimlessly. I'm a bit of a complesionist too, so I prefer missions in open world games to just walking around, although that's been changing when I just want to relax.
All I know of FFXIII is what I watched of TheSpoonyOne's review.
I agree, I've been going to the blogs section to keep up, but I want to have some sort of notification system; in my case, I'd prefer something closer to facebook comment notifications than e-mails, cause I get enough e-mail spam as it is, but I will be patient as Nick and co. work on it.
They've been doing great thus far, I'm sure they'll think of something.
Hey Nick, as a 1up straggler, I just wanted to find somehwere other than halochief_90's comments section to tell you what an absolutely incredible job you're doing! I asked for videos in comments yesterday, expecting it to take a while, here I am today staring at a video button!
And you've added all these features in the past couple days when you just had a kid? You are one motivated man! Don't worry, I'll feed suggestions as they come to my mind, cause this place is amazing, cause you're amazing, and I want to help you help it improve!
Can not say it enough: thank you. And of course, the whole Pixlbit staff as well, as I'm sure they're also working hard on this place!
I love the DKC music as well, and I learned of the jazz F-Zero covers through Benzaie at tgwtg.com.
Majora's Mask was never my favorite Zelda cause of the time mechanic, but everything else was my favorite in the series. It was so dark, and you're right, the music helped create the amazing atmosphere.
I like Sonic music from Adventure, cause it reminds me of cheesy Saturday morning tunes. haha.
And you got to meet the creator of GGX2 and Blazblue?! GGX2 was my favorite 2D fighter on PS2, possibly ever! ANd the music was so metal! Jealous.
I'm actually not surprised that the small screen looks better than the TV, I've watched movies on my tiny Android and said "holy shit, so this is what HD looks like!" Yeah, we still have SDTVs, but even still, it's quite incredible.
And those screen shots look great as well. Co-op sounds interesting.
Dogwithguns, this is genresrforposers from 1up. Won't get offended if you don't recognize that handle, it's been a while! Good to see you!
That escalated quickly ... lol. Having now archived 400 of my 1up blogs, which I started when I was 16, I say you remind me of me. Not that you're 16 (I think I was 19 for the worst of mine), but I wrote a lot of rants, haha.
I agree with criticizing what you love though, as long as it's constructive, it's a way to help them improve. That said, when speaking with a business, you speak with whatever currency they work for, so if people keep paying for a bad product, they'll keep making it, cause why spend the money to improve it when their profits are fine?
NIce blog, man.
I think it looks awesome, but I'm an action/platformer guy, also a cinephile who loves pretty graphics.
Passive fan of Star Wars, but I agree about blasters, I've always felt laser-based weapons should recharge, if anything. And jetpacks are fine, as long as it's not Shadows of the Empire jetpacks, which were infuriating. So close every time that percent counter went down!
