OoT 3D, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and A Link Between Worlds is on the way.
What I think happened is they were trying to make games for it that really needed a second stick and Nintendo made the CPP to avoid backlash the PSP got, but didn't want there to be a divide between CPP owners for the original 3DS and non-owners. I think they should have just put it in from the start, but it does make sense especially when you see so few games using it now.
Actually isn't MGS 3D the only other game that really needs it? Unless you're left handed where Kid Icarus needs it also.
AC2 did a great job of making you want to just syncronize one viewpoint. The feeling you got climbing all that way, letting the view sync, and jumping into a bale of hay is so incredible.
It's a shame because there's a great RPG somewhere in there. Emphasis on double battles is a cool idea, shadow Pokemon are both great from a story and gameplay perspective, the game starts you off with an Eevee, and Mirror B is such a great villain who I'd love to be the main bad guy. I would love for Nintendo to make a Wii U follow up that rights all of its wrongs.
Absolutely. Go with the XL the original is so uncomfortable you'll need grips so might as well pay $20 extra. Games I think you should get are Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem, Mario 3D Land, and Pushmo/Crushmo. And Pokemon and Zelda when they come out.
Also you should check out the Phoenix Wright games if you don't have a phone that can play the iOS HD remakes. Trials and Tribulations is the best point and click adventure game I've ever played and the new 3DS PW looks fantastic as well as PW vs Layton
Play it until you reach Mirror B and hear his music. Or just look it up on YouTube. The game is kind of bland but Mirror B is one of the greatest villains ever made. What a waste to put him in a game that mediocre
Pretty much my thoughts. 2DS is for a niche market and if you're not a part of that, it's fine. It's really to make every parent wary of 3D jump in time for Pokemon X/Y.
White 2 is much better. The starters are the same (though honestly Oshawott has good evolutions and Snivy starts and stays cool looking). But the game throws the Pokemon you want to put on your team. Before you get to the second Gym you can get a Growlithe, Magby/Elekid (depending on your version), Magnemite, Riolu, or Koffing, all of which are awesome. It's also the best balanced Pokemon I've seen challenge wise, I recommend most to skip B/W in favor of 2.
The game is also much better if you use the touch screen. Personally I think Heartgold/Soulsilver has the best interface in the series though.
