I read a strategy where you can let your screen build up a lot so that when you hit a big combo it dumps a ton of gems on your opponent. It's kinda risky though, so it may be better to be fast.

I'm kinda undecided about full virtual reality games. I'm not sure I really want so much immersion. I also don't want to "live the dream you've always wanted to live", as Cliffy B says. I'll do that in real life thanks. I would like to use VR to experience things different from reality though. That could be neat. It could also be cool to let you experience a place like Mars via rover cameras. That would be rad.
I found this spot at the beginning of a level right after The Asylum where a guy would throw a grenade at me every time right after a checkpoint. It was a great spot to try that drop-a-grenade thing and then practice throwing them back too. It's the part right before you have to take on two mechs.
I'm working on Uber. It didn't seem too troublesome like you said. I'll get back to it to get those last two achievements in July.

That's what I'm doing right now. Walking a lot and controlling all my meals. I'll build up to a run when I lighten up a bit. I'm thinking about getting a bike too, but not until some weight comes down. I'm saving gas money by doing this as well. It's all a win win. I can't wait to take up a sport. I've got to do something more than just run around and lift weights.
The first time I went to this con is was tiny and like an hour away from me. I have low hopes of any game deals at such places, but it's still cool to look around. We have the internet to thank for that. It's killed bargain hunting at flea markets and cons.
Yea, I want to hit PAX East, but it's so hard to get tickets now. Sometime when I'm more financially secure, I'll do it.
That's what I thought when it came out, but then I didn't. It got kinda middling reviews, 70's on metacritic. I'm going to get it at that price though. Could be hella fun.
