I had Townshend's Iron Man soundtrack on vinyl and played it to death. Prince's Batman too. Good stuff.
When I saw the title I thought you'd hit your head and were doing a Blog on Taylor Swift. Glad I was wrong. :)

Oh and the patently awful Grabbed By the Ghoulies is 2.54 GB and not worth the space it takes up. In case you don't have it here is the complete list.
If it is a digital download it will be a large one. 5 of the games are Xbox 360 games weighing in at over 26 GB total. Sure some of the others are small but count on over 30 GB.
With my 100 GB a month download cap that would be completely out to lunch so I'd go with physical.
Besides I've now begun to wonder what happens to my digital content once the company stops supporting the platform and discontinues the hardware. Since we only actually license it they are well within their rights to cut us off completely.
Yeah the season 3 premier is the one I'm talking about. No aliens is not fun. :)
I don't know what advantage undershipping Amiibos would have.
They don't make any money when someone sells the rare ones to someone else. It only benefits the scalpers.
Yes there is benefit in creating a demand by reducing supply (common practice) but that only goes so far. They eventually have to increase supply in order to make money.
You may be right about the other things, from what I know about Amiibos I don't think it's a big deal.
In some games they unlock the character in the game, some give you a gift and the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all. No wait, that's a line from White Rabbit but I thought it was only a few games that work with Amiibos and only certain Amiibos work in a particular game. Could be wrong, don't pay that much attention.
In the end some people are collecting them as figures and only as figures. Jay (Nintendoquest.com Jay) collects them purely as figures and doesn't open them.
Personally I don't think anything sinister is going on here.
Now if they start making games that you can't play unless you buy Amiibos for them that's a different story altogether.
I also think that whether the content is locked on the disk or downloadable is a potato potahto thing. The Souls games could have just released with all the content on the disk and made you pay to unlock the DLC or do what they did and made you pay to download it after the fact.
Do we ever know for a fact that expansions and other DLC aren't ready to go day one? Yeah we'll make 'em pay 60 bucks for the game and then another 20 for the next part of it.
I'm unsure Blake, maybe season passes, $20 expansions and Amiibo unlocks are evil but I don't buy any of them as a rule. Hence my apathy. :)
I watched the premier of Defiance and I was a bit irritated by the Game of Thrones like killing off of characters throughout the show. I liked the idea of the new aliens but it all seemed kind of depressing.
I watched an episode of Dark Matter but don't remember much. We have two more episodes recorded but if it doesn't get a lot more interested I won't be watching.
Wayward Pines has been quite interesting but those plot holes. Still watching though.
Walking Dead I think I'm done with. I'm just not interested anymore. My wife likes it though.
Hmmm so Skylanders has been doing this shit for how many years and then Disney but when Nintendo does it you jump on the haters bandwagon? I didn't expect that out of you.
I'll be doing the main quest and going through all the jobs. I've taken a bunch of fishing requests already so I guess I'll need an angling license at some point. :)
Yeah yeah. Well somebody bought mine so I need a digital replacement. :P
You'd love this one Cary.
