I agree, Jason. I had this on my iPhone a while back and honestly, it wasn't anything special. Felt like a less interesting Boom Blox.
I redownloaded it on my Android phone last night (it's free) in order to check it out again and see if maybe I missed something all that time ago.
This is something I noticed, but I didn't particularly find it to be something that brought depth and variation, it was just a tool in your belt to assist you through the level.
I would say that it does blend in well because it wasn't immediately obvious. Also, most people tend to play games of this genre holding down the fire button without letting off, so I'm sure some people never noticed it.

Holy. Crap. I can't believe the numbers this game is putting up. I'll say this, there's no question that the game is good. I've been really enjoying it thus far and it just might be better than Modern Warfare 2, but it's clear that Treyarch took some pointers from that title's success. It's also clear that Black Ops uses the MW2 engine.
I'll be interested to hear what the 5 day sales amount to.

It seems ZeniMax is really on a buying spree. id, Tango Gameworks, Arkane Studios, and now the Starbreeze guys? I have to wonder if they are hoping to play with the big boys (Activision and EA). If they keep on this rate, who knows what the future holds.
