I imagine the name Muir was used because of it's reference to John Muir the famous adventurer and nature lover.

I've got to get me in the habit of drawing. Maybe I'll replace my reading with drawing. I always like less passive activities which is why I favor games over movies.
Rachel Weil on Famicom had some pretty strict rules for what she considered a girl game and what went in the museum section of her site. I agree that just being nonviolent doesn't make it a game for girls.

I have Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia in my backlog. I played a little bit of Phantasia, but that's it.

The games look really good on the PSP version, Activision Hits Remixed, and I just found out there's a GBA version that has some homebrew games not on the other collections. There's also a version for iOS/Android that includes the Imagic game Dragonfire which is not on any other collection. In that version you get Kaboom for free and then pay per game.
Neat. I need to play one of those Atelier games. I have Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana on PS2 in my backlog.
