DooM 64

Posted on 03/16/2014 at 05:58 PM | Filed Under Feature

I played all these FPSes on the PC first, then PS1 and then N64. It seems like when a lot of series went to N64, they changed up some things. Like Destruction Derby 64 had extra tracks and different feel to it than DD on PS1. I loved the N64 version but not the PS1 one. I played Duke Nukem 64 totally differently than the PS1 version. I played much more deathmatch stuff. It just seemed better in that department. Now I'd like a review of Quake II on N64.

I Took My Old Handhelds Out Today

I just recently got a DS Lite again to play GBA games. I have a GBA SP but it's not the one with the better backlight and I just couldn't stand the dim screen of the regular one. So I got the DS Lite and it's fabulous for GBA games.

I kinda wish I still had my DS fat just to look at it and laugh.

Now that I've calmed down...(Hawkie smash!)

I'm really tired of prettiness in both sexes in the media. I almost don't want to see anything anymore because it's always just a bunch of pretty people. I don't worship a look and prettiness is a dime a dozen. Every time there's a new "hot" person being talked about I look at them and see the same darn face I've seen every few years. I like real people not Kens and Barbies. They all look like they were cut from the same mold like a pack of clones. The whole image thing just bores me to tears.

Take two weeks off from work and play some of my backlog.

I liked the fighting in the game too. Kinda button mashy at times, but pretty good I thought.

I liked the WWII CODs but the modern warfare ones I never played.

I still have the first Veiwtiful Joe on Gamecube. Gonna have to hunt down the second one again.

You hit the beach and then cruise right through to Assault on the Control Room. You get outdoor areas, indoor areas, canyons, tanks, and banshees. You get it all doing those two levels. The co-op demo on one of the Official Xbox Magazine Demo Discs had them too.

Got an Xbox 360 Again

I used to own a Halo 3 Edition 360. It finally red ringed on me and I gave it to a friend who wanted to try and fix it. He didn't. In retrospect I should've traded it to Gamestop for a little credit towards the one I replaced it with. I didn't know at the time Gamestop would take red ringed Xbox 360s.

Yea, the console versions were always way easier than the arcade ones and that Pac-Man game on 2600 was really, really bad.

It would be perfect on Vita. I want to go back and play them again.
