I should have a thicker skin than that, but being a bit of a loner, I'm not used to social battling and tend to shut myself away when verbally bruised.
I love the way you can attach yourself to the monsters in Dragon's Dogma. I watched my friend play it after me and I couldn't stop laughing as he hung from his sword stuck in a Cyclops' butt.
Can you still get the original American McGee's Alice as a download with Alice Madnes Returns? I always wanted to play both games.
A friend of mine is going to lend me his copy of one of the Fables trade paperbacks from which Wolf Among Us is based. The concept intrigues me. We'll see if I like it.
GOD writer Marianne KrawCzyk won a BAFTA for the characterization of Kratos in GOW II. The fighting is great in all of them it's just that there's less of it as the series progresses. I have to play more of GOW III to see if it's as good as I and II. Ascension though is definitely GOW light.
I read the Spartan Ops stuff on Wiki, but I'm going to finish the game soon and see it for myself. This stuff about the Composer confuses me.
Mr. Ewalt talks about that Dungeon Master book and how it was mostly untrue. James Egbert was a prodigy who had a depression problem totally unrelated to D&D. It makes a good story though just like the play that made Salieri the secret murderer of Mozart. Great story. Total bullshit.
The Spoony Bard's story is interesting. He played D&D at lunchtime in full view of his peer group. I always played alone or at home with a friend. I was the outsider's outsider and wasn't reviled as a deviant because I was not obviously a nerd. I had my issues with bullies in 5-8th grade and fought my way to being left alone for the most part. I kind of wish I'd been in the nerd group. Being in a group is better than being alone, even a group under attack.
Oh cool! Looks like it will only be single player though. Want some co-op for this. I should have a Wii-U sometime in 2014. This will be on my list for sure.
I played Blue Dragon this year and loved it. The music was great too. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is essential. So many great games there. I'm a new convert to the Lego games this year after playing Lego Star Wars. I'm looking for any excuse to drop everything and play through every Lego game. I'm putting the various annual Brickfair conventions on my calendar as a good reason to do that.
Oh man I love this game. I got it on DS first 'cause I loved the graphics. I found a really fun game there and finished it. Then I got the XBLA version and finished that too. Why can't Capybara do a sequel or something? I can't get enough of their battle system. So cool!
