We just got to the third world but haven't been able to play since we moved. That shared lives thing is rough though.

DK is almost like Sully from Monsters, inc. lol
The main complaint most people have with FFXIII is its extreme linearity and to be honest I don't think that will bother me all that much. I've never been a big fan of open world games, for instance. Now the game's slow start, that will no doubt be very annoying but we'll see.
I'm drowning in great games over here. It's hard to know what to play sometimes lol.
No, FFII isn't bad and the GBA version is probably the most player-friendly version too. But it's not a game I'll ever go back to play again. Unlike these brutal new DKC games!
Hmm, I do have it thanks to the Humble Bundle...
I read an interview with one of the game's designer's and he said that cross-platform play was possible from a technical standpoint but they didn't want people to complain about others doing better because of using a newer system, which is a dumb complaint but I can imagine people making it. What I think they should have done is offer servers with cross-platform for those who want it and servers for specific systems for those who care about that.
I had planned on getting it when it first came out but then something came up and I had to wait. Glad to finally have it.
Things are going fairly well, I think. The boys both have colds and I think they're passing it to me
but otherwise...
My wife is the one that wants to play Watch Dogs. Maybe I'll try it one day. It's down to $28 on Amazon. That's not too bad.
I imagine most of us have pretty mundane lives outside of gaming. I sure do. My drive to work is when I listen to podcasts. I'd never get around to those otherwise.
I picked up Hard Corps: Uprising during that sale too. I tried the demo when it first came out and didn't like it but I've had it recommended several times to me since then, so I figured I'd give it another chance. Besides, I didn't even know about the Uprising mode where you can leve up your character. That sounds pretty cool.
If you still have points (I know I'm behind on commenting), I'd recommend Shovel Knight. It's like playing an NES game without all the frustrations of playing an actual NES game
