Once again, all I can think about is how I wish real life was more like this game for me. I could use a castle.

Hahaha if the mood strikes you. To give this SOME context, it was all about "gameifying education."
Yeah, I work Thurs-Sun, so my schedule is pretty weird as well. Granted, if I really wanted, I could hash everything out on Thursday, but I don't feel like it.
I guess my brain makes things rhyme automatically, cause I saw Forza Horizon 4, but Forizon 4 is what shot in my head for some reason.
Man, I wish you could earn money in real life as quickly and easily as in video games. I mean, in this case, you literally could if you had those kind of cars to sell, but I mean for a normal person.
Could not agree more with NES Metroid being garbage in the modern day. Could not disagree more with slowing down in Mega Man games. I've pointed this out to people before, but I usually do much better in those games when I keep a certain ryhtm. That rythm isn't speed runner fast, but it's definitely not me thinking about my jumps much. Having said that, I've always beaten every Robot Master but never beaten a Wily Castle. Maybe I'd change my tune for the castle levels. I've just never felt like doing them for whatever reason.
I'm on Julian's side when it comes to quittin'. Most things in life just ain't worth doin'. Quit, Julian! For everlasting peace!
I need physical game rental stores to come back ... GameFly is a good service ... when you get the game you actually want and not your 7th pick all the time. That's all I can think of with this talk of buying games.
The PlayStation Classic library feels like a joke from trolls flooding any online polls where Sony asked what should be on it.
Yeah, I bought SNES Classic because I wasn't the one who owned the Super Nintendo back in the day, don't own current consoles where I could access those games, don't really feel like the hassle of doing things legitimately retro by buying separate cartridges, and that would have been my reason for picking up a PlayStation classic as well, were the library decent.
Is the Super Meat Boy guy game a remake of Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em on Atari? I remember reading about that one in an EGM special cover story about graphically sexual games. I think maybe Seanbaby wrote it?
Yu-Gi Oh is great and anyone saying otherwise is a terrorist. I'm not going to staranus.com specifically because I heard that bullshit opinion. I'll be back with my AMA questions, assuming I'm in a good enough mood after hearing that garbage.
I'm curious what about the filmmaking exercise made no sense to Mike? I realize most of what I'm talking about would be hashed out in pre-production rather than out in the field. This scenario is not meant to be a 1:1 for how video production is actually done. Is that what you mean, Mike? As someone in the same field as you, I'm a little confused by your confusion?
Anyway, great podcast so far. I've had a lot to say so far, but I deleted it, cause I don't like having one GIANT comment that's mine and everyone else looks like a sane person.
Coming back for the rest. I'll definitely have to think of some AMA questions.
I want to say one of the producers on the Cinema Snob YouTube show worked on Sharknado, which means I get to say I had a DVD (The Cinema Snob Movie) mailed to me by a guy who worked on Sharknado ... I think.
Nice!
