WOOOOO Birthday Month!

I'm excited to see more fighting games for the Switch. I wasn't a huge fan of KOF but did enjoy the games and actually playing through some of them. My favorite would have to be KOF Maximum Impact on the PS2. I got it from Circuit City when they would randomly drop games to $8 and this one was fancy because it was a 2 pack with a DVD. Never watched the DVD but I always liked Lien (blonde with black/yellow jumpsuit). I always like using women in fighting games because they seem to be faster, more fluid than the male characters.

Oh I loved God Of War II. I thought it was a better game than the original because of the controls alone. I do believe I waited a bit until the game dropped in price but still played the hell out of it...and again years later in one of those compilation GOW discs.

2005 was all about the PSP, and CSI for me. I was blown away that on the PSP you could put audio files, and video files to make it an all in one system. Of course the one game I played a ton of was Madden because my previous portable Madden was on the Game Gear and it didn't have real teams.

It's amazing how that works; every game practically at your fingertips and you hardly play them, while growing up with 3 games you played the hell out of them. I was the same with the SNES and I was given one years ago but it didn't work so the only "real" interaction other than at family gatherings is with emulation. I may have to give this a spin purely based on the art style.

R&C always have some of the quirkiest weapons. They're funny but sometimes they need some practice to get everything out of them.

I also think I have Yooka on one of the PC clients because it was a freebie. I remember wanting to play it but when I finally got to play it, I didn't want to. Weird.

Oh cool someone else is watching High Score. I haven't finished the first episode yet but it seems like one of those shows where I can camp out on the couch and just go through the entire series.

I liked Red Faction, but II was the first person game. That doesn't work as well with me but I did play some of it. Fun game.

Man I didn't realize that the TG16 had the Gradius and Galaga games. Looks like I have sometime to play at lunch.

Road trips like that were the best. I always liked the stops at random gas stations because for a couple of minutes you could get out, look around, and wonder where the other people were going.

2004 was interesting for me, I had a little job out of college, I started getting into sneakers, and I was buying up old video games.

It's different especially in a sea of teams who wear red, white, and blue.

I never got into the comic but I did collect the cards which were based on the comics. I think the proudest moment my brother and I had was one year we got all the figures that were released. I think I kept one cardback and we would X out the figures on the back as we got them. GI Joe's were a lot of fun.

I think they have a good chance but Golden State is the MonStars off the NBA 2K franchise right now. Man Luka and his crazy 3 at the end of OT. Damn his skills and ice in his veins. He's gonna be fun to watch.

I wanted to use something gambling related but then I figured why not go animal/hotel on the strip and the Flamingo was the choice. I wish you could have a mascot but nope just the team. Funny you mention giraffes, the Lakers used to use a giraffe logo in front of a pink basketball way back when. The only time I've really seen it is on old basketball cards.
