Okay, since American's are the only people in the world who give a shit about the NFL, I did have to google that :p
Edit: That sounds meaner than was intended. I apologise and a tongue face to remedy it.

Yep. I've been arguing that games are too long for ages. It really hurts in narrative driven games like The Last of Us and the Silent Hill games, and you can spot padding from a mile away.
For horror this is especially problematic. You know P.T.? That was 3 hours. That is the perfect length for a horror game. 5 hours tops. When you go past that, the game stops being scary, and everything becomes just a frustrating obstacle.
Great review btw. I've only played the first hour of this but it awesomely atmospheric.
Awesome, glad you like it :) Are you much into post metal?
Does The 100 get good? I started watching it but it was so... CW-ey. The music choices especially ruined it for me, and some of the characters made me want to headbutt a canary.
I've kind of burnt out on Dark Souls 2 at the moment. I've put nearly 300 hours into it, and I just don't want to go back to it for now despite my love for it.
I'm playing Penumbra at the moment. Frictional make the only games that actually scare me anymore. I mean seriously scare me. I can play any Silent Hill game without so much as a whimper. A frictional game though? I'm a mess when I'm done.
I read your blog but can't think of a response. You are beautiful.
Mastadon is great, but when that song started I thought I was listening to Meshuggah haha.
Also, on my IGN games list FEAR 3 has the lowest rating with a 2.3. It's fucking dogshit.
Also, if you want a really cool, underrated horror fps, pick up Cryostasis. It has some technical difficulties here and there, but it reminds me of a more horror focused Bioshock in the antarctic where the cold is used as a mechanic.
Also, I look forward to your Alien review as well :D
War for Cybertron is great :D hope you enjoy!
Also, I gave up with Agents of Shield. I really didn't like it tbh
I need to check out more Jonathon Coulton. Still Alive is still one Portal thing Memes haven't ruined for me :)
Great picks overall. Have you heard Behemoth's latest album? It's fucking terrifyingly awesome.
Godspeed You Black Emperor is one of the greatest bands of all time, so excellent pick :D
I'd never heard of Andrew Gold though, but I may have to look up some more...
I'll leave you with a nice halloween track ;)
Enjoy.
P.S. Tool videos are still horrifying.
That's totally understandable. It took me a looooong time to grow to like that singing. I think of it now as putting distortion on your voice like it would for guitar. Having a brother that plays that type of music though, you learn they often aren't screaming though. They actually growl pretty softly and amp it up in production, or add distortion to their voices in live concerts. You are right, four of my favourite bands who used this technique have stopped entirely because they can't do it anymore.
But yeah, I'm thinking my next blog won't have any metal at all haha.
Which one did you listen too? Also, what is your kind of music btw. And yeah, they're not for everyone, especially the Ahab one, as it falls into one of the most extreme metal genres - funeral doom metal. I like it though.
