Oh I love that SMTIV image! I can't wait to start playing it. Too busy with Etrian Odyssey at the moment.

It's weird, but when I was playing sports in real life, that's when I was into sports games. I always thought it weird that a football player would play a football game, but I find myself playing games that somewhat reflect what I do in real life instinctively. So it's not that weird I guess.
3DS is on fire this year. So many cool games!
First for me was Mattel Electronics Baseball, a handheld LED game. Then Activision Tennis on 2600. Played a ton of that. Hat Trick in the arcades. It was 1v1 but still fun. Then NBA JAM and NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC on the Dreamcast. I haven't played a sports game that much since then.
I'm only a couple minutes into this week's Laser Time and it already feels like old TalkRadar (now RadioRadar) with three people from that show. I'm hooked.
It used to be Angry Video Game Nerd, but now it's all the members of the AllGenGamers podcast (see their youtube page for the links to them) especially Pete's Game Room. His room tour is pretty amazing.
I saw the Metroid Prime Trilogy at Gamestop again like they pulled it out of hiding after all these years. They want $60 for it and I guess it's worth it, but I'm broke right now. Why isn't this trilogy out in a big way? Why did Nintendo produce so few copies? This is one of their main franchises and we should all be able to play those first three games in perfect HD. I'm pissed about this, but I'll play my old original copies on GameCube and be happy with it... sort of.
I got this on DS on a lark one year and played it nonstop 'til I got 100% completion. I traded it in when the XBLA version came out and then finished it there too. Now I really want to pick it up again for DS so I have a copy on the go. Capybara Games is awesome! They did Superbrothers for iOS that looks great too, but I haven't played, lacking an iPhone. Their game Below coming next year looks interesting. I kinda wish they'd do more action puzzle stuff though.
