Fuck Context Sensitive Buttons

I just lumped it in with other games I'd experienced it in. None of the games I mentioned are bad though, and in half of them it's more annoying than anything else, with the exception of Ass Creed and Gears of War. However, the case still stands, why should I leave Zelda out of rants? They aren't perfect and have a ton of flaws.

Okay... it's not 3 am and I've had coffee so I can explain things without raging haha. Essentially, this is a thing that can work in games but in certain kinds of games doesn't always work as intended. This is more so in games that either have locked in cover or a climbing system, as those systems can get you killed/make you do stupid things. Assassin's Creed has always annoyed me for this, as you'll hang instead of leaping, or run up a wall instead of running past it. It's the same in Gears of War. You could be running away to heal, but oh too bad, you'r e stuck to a wall for a fraction of a second and now you've got a chainsaw in your ass.

Thse moments don't happen all the time but when they do, it's infuriating. I don't even think I can blame it on consoles because you can hold a button while preeing another button which isn't that hard to do and can triple what you can do on a controller. So, I don't think we should have run, jump, climb, stick to walls, and open doors all tied to A, because that's kind of stupid.

Firstly, I never said fucktard. Secondly, how is it a copout? Saying devs are inept because I believe something is poorly designed?

I've had issues with this in both Ocarina of Time and Windwaker, but moreso in Ocarina. It is rare, and in Zelda's case makes some things more tedious and mildly annoying than outright frustrating.

Why? Zelda isn't exempt from discussion when it makes missteps.

I don't believe it is. It could have you press A to run, and hold rt and run to enable climb mode or something. Button combinations exist.

I felt that way the first time I watched it too. I thought it was boring the first time I watched it. But I think the middle is what makes the end so awesome. It's a slow build that makes the characters more likeable. Also, I like that the main character rarely speaks. His mannerisms make him seem sort of autistic to me. He doesn't seem to know how to react in social situations and he seems to get on with the kid more than he does the mother. It seems like when he kisses her later in the film that he only did this because he'd seen it been done in films or something.

That said, when I saw it with my girlfriend at the time she hated it. Thought the middle was too slow and the end was too violent. However, I feel like it is exactly my kind of film. A slow burn film that ratchets up the tension and explodes in dramatic fury. Whether that be explosive violence or just dramatic tension doesn't matter. I just love when a slow film explodes. Which is probably why I LOVE Breaking Bad so much.

Not really a follow up, I just mean their next work together. If you liked Drive... you might like it? I didn't mind it, but it is a lot more pretentious. The story is told more in metaphor than traditional narrative structure and the violence does seem a touch unncessary in places.

It's still a really well shot and solid thriller with another astonishing soundtrack. Oh, and Ryan Gosling speaks even less in this haha.
