Contrast. That's the word I was looking for to describe the screen of the original Vita. It has great contrast.

They are so tiny now, I almost lost mine the moment I took it out of it's wrapping.

My hardware is only 4 years old. Why would they stop supporting it? It's crazy and they're crazy if they think I'm just gonna go out and buy a new one when this one works just great for 99% of what I use it for: podcasts, music and the occasional Twitter or Facebook post.

Dredd is good. A description of it's style by the cinematographer mentioned a cross between Blade Runner and A Clockwork Orange. That's some good source matterial there.
