Eating: Ordered some thai food (Pad sa eaw with beef and fried spring rolls) last night after a kitchen disaster (don't ask, but things still smell burnt in the kitchen this morning!). And the beautiful thing about ordering from the Thai Garden is that they're right down the street (which is a big deal if you live in rural Maine, trust me) and that portions are big enough for at least two meals, so that's what I'll be having for lunch, too.
Watching: Been watching Supernatural , The Shield, HawthoRNe, Space Above and Beyond, and a bunch of Jet Li movies.
Reading: thinking about reading the Iliad and the Odyssey again. Dunno why.
Playing: silly games on Kongregate (Infectionator, Accelerator, Pixelo) and Sleeping Dogs.
Usually not a fan of zombie games.
I have RDR, but not the zombie dlc, and probably won't get it. I have, however, been playing this game.
I know! It looks kind of similar to a moth called a rosy maple moth, but rosy maple moths don't have those white dots on the wing. Whatever it was, it was pretty cool.
I've been MIA from here myself since April, so don't feel bad. As you said, life does tend to get in the way.
I love when a game hooks me like that. My current love affair is with SLeeping Dogs, a game that I never in a million years would have played if it hadn't been a freebie on Live's Games With Gold. Good luck getting that Platinum. I got my first (and only, to date) late last winter/early spring. It was a pretty heady moment, lol.
Glad you liked them, John. I'm surprised you missed them the first time around on Facebook. And that's the stuffed head of a bear in that trash can. Did startle me at first, though.
I misidentified it at first as a rosy maple moth, but it isn't. I'll have to find an entomologist or lepidopterist to ID it for me.
Glad you're feeling better. I'm over 600 messages behind, so don't feel bad.
