I had that problem, too, when I first fired the 360 up after it sat dormant for four or five months. Try signing out and then signing back in again.

You should read read some of his stuff. He did a lot of WWII adventure novels and a lot of Cold War spy adventure novels. A large number of his books got turned into mediocre movies - Where Eagles Dare, Breakheart Pass, Ice Station Zebra, and a few others.

Well, the first nine seasons are on Netflix, so you can chip away. I was seven seasons behind and now I'm almost caught up.

I like Winter. I like snow. I have an all-wheel drive Subaru and winter tires. No worries. And you're about to smack me upside the head now, aren't you?

I've been house cleaning in small spurts, working on resurrecting my resume, playing a lot of Sleeping Dogs, and trying to watch Season 9 of Supernatural on Netflix so I can catch up with Season 10 on Hulu Plus. Also been watching Season 5 of The Shield, Season 2 of The Walking Dead, and just started watching Space: Above and Beyond again.

Also took the dog for a couple of lovely long rambles in the woods in the lovely fall weather.

The controls for both the original RE and Silent Hill are hideous. I really want to play them both, and have tried them both, but the controls just made me mad.

The Guns of Navarone is one of my favorite Alastair MacLean novels, and I'm a huge Alastair MacLean fan. The movie is really good, too. Force 10 from Navarone always felt tacked on to me, both the book and the movie. And I think it was a made-for-TV movie, too. I think the movie might have been a wee better than the book.
