Cool idea with the 1up tag. I wasn't a 1up member, so I'll be reading your stuff anyway, but I still think it's a good idea.
Yeah, let's hope!
Yeah, the graphics are great. I heard from some people that they thought it was the best 3D on the system, but I'm not sure about that. It's definitely good, but I still found myself turning it off eventually.
Yeah, it's definitely more on my radar than before.
Yeah, I definitely think there's hope here. I'm interested to see the reviews once it's finally released.
I played the PSP version as well and I was obsessed with this game. I easily put in those 100 hours. I love this style of game - FF Tactics is my personal fave - and I was right at home with this game. That's of course due to the fact that Square scooped up the makers of this game from Quest to make FFT.
I've actually never played the original PSX version (in NA anyway). That's something I'll have to add to the list!
I don't know you from 1up, but I'm very interested by your background in gaming journalism. Looking forward to your blogs!
Metal Gear Solid was why I got a PSX in '98. I knew I'd I want to play the FF titles, but when I saw the screenshots and information MGS, I knew I had to play it. It's become a beloved game for me.
MGS3 is my favourite in the series! You seriously need to play it. It's so excellent. I enjoyed every minute of it. I picked up the HD collection with the intent on playing through these titles again, as well as Peace Walker which I've never played, but I think I want to get Twin Snakes first and start things off right.
Excellent article!
There was a pinball room which was pretty awesome, and a few consoles with fighters and shooters on them. The Last Game Store had a large area on the sales floor and there was a guy selling DVDs that had some great deals on games as well. Other than that, not much for vidya games.
Still though, it was really fun. I'm definitely going back this year, just waiting to hear more on the guests.
