The Batman esque combat and Assassin's Creed esque movement turn me off, but I still want to try these games just to see how they've structured the open world play.

Pretty similar to me then. Btw, I remember why I stopped playing L4D2 single player. Dull as dishwater.
Play OoE. It's cool. I don't know if it's my favorite of the DS 'vanias, but they are all great imo.
Joke is on EA after we've just had Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein, Mario Odyssey, South Park, Assassin's Creed, and Divinity: OS2 drop. Where is the death?
Reminds me of the Cotton games. Series of Japanese shmups starring a young witch.
No mods yet. I'll give it a look after I get done with SP.
I have nothing to play any of those other games on. Don't know if this laptop can run AI or TEW.
Not familiar with that one. Going to look it up.
I'm sure you have something that fits the bill. Or use this as an excuse to get something new.
Came close to picking Costume Quest 1. If by any chance I have time I may start it.
Yes this game intrigued more than the original since it was revealed. Something about it looks more coherent and confident in its execution. And it looks more fun in the Twitch streams I looked at. Unfortunately I have nothing to play it on right now. According to the Can You Run It website, my laptop isn't good enough, but it's been Mbefore (I can play Witcher 3 on pretty high settings). Wish there was a demo. Mostly indie games for me lately, so this would be a good shake up.
Favorite horror...It's either REmake, RE2, Castlevanias or Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
