Damn pandas are all over the place.
I'd love for it to be New 3DS weekend for me too. Sadly no.
Hey you have that original Viva Pinata too. I bought it day one and played it for a while. I really couldn't get into it.
I got Frozen Synapse through PSN+ but I couldn't figure out what the hell I was supposed to do. I thought I was taking a tutorial but it just dumped me in a room and told me nothing. It might be fun if I can figure it out.
Getting absent minded in my old age. :)
Five Stars for that comment Alex. the people who do the work should get the credit.
Nicely written Casey and I whole heartedly agree with number 1 and 2 . What draws me to Double Fine is the humour and I stick around for the silliness. I might rate Costume Quest and Stacking above Brutal Legend but I never really gave BL much of a chance so I could be way off
I see him pop in on PS3 occasionally. Larry too. I should message them next time I'm on. I had Ben on Twitter but he likes to post NSFW stuff so I had to mute him. LOL
I understand what you are saying. Yes what she makes can be categorized as music but she doesn't play anything or know how to write music (as in musical notes) so she is not a musician. Beck on the other hand is.
What she is most definitely is a business woman who runs a business and I don't argue that she has a lot of control but then so does the CEO of any business.
Also if you click on any of the songs mentioned on that wikapedia page you will notice that each one is credited to at least two other people sometimes many more.
The song writing process is that the other members of the team write the song then the lyrics are given to Beyonce for approval. She may change a word, maybe two or suggest a harmony and voila she gets a song writing credit, that isn't song writing and It's not unique to her, it's common practice in today's mainstream music business.
So my original comment wasn't that she doesn't make real music. That would be dumb because by definition it is. She's a vocalist and a business woman but definitely not a musician
Here's just one article regarding the song writing controversy.

To conclude, musically I'm about as far from an elitist as you can get. My contention is that there are only two kinds of music in this world. Good music and bad music. I listen to all genres and even though I might say I don't like country or rap there are artists in both of those categories who I respect and some that I actually own albums by.
Sorry if I'm being negative but music was my first love and as you can tell I'm still passionate about it. :)
