Yeah, that does look neat. I think I'll go with that Street Fighter collection for fighting goodness on Switch. Also really happy that Kirby game is right around the corner.

GT had good ideas, but is kind of bad. Super is actually a lot like Dragonball and Z. They'll do an arc that's like Dragonball where they have a tournament and a bunch of goofy smaller plots followed by an arc with a villain trying to destroy the world/universe, then go back to the goofy stuff and tournaments.
Dragonball is a better show, but I just have so much nostalgia for Z that I'm more attached to it. The plus side is if you liked Dragonball that they keep a lot of its characters as relevant fighters beyond Goku, Piccolo and Krillin like most. Yamcha and Tien are both playbable. You'd also probably be a fan of fat Buu. He starts as a villain who acts like a child and often beats his enemies by turning them into cookies and candy.
Kirby Switch, Metroid Prime 4, and Soul Calibur 6 have my eye most on this list. Also looking forward to Bloodstained, Biomutant, Dragonball FighterZ, and Spider-Man as well as some others I'm unconvinced will land in 2018.
Blake's right about Persona and Prey. Persona has a very quick and fluid battle system and does a great job of keeping a smooth pace in dungeons. I would recommend renting anyways though since it has a very slow opening and takes about six hours until you're roaming around in a dungeon freely. Prey meanwhile is more Bioshock than Dishonored.
Breath of the Wild was my favorite game since Mass Effect 2 in 2010 so I'd recommend that one first if you get around to the Switch. Doesn't matter when, would still be my first recommendation. Mario is fine, but I felt it was overrated. A must buy if you have a Switch for sure, but not the masterpiece people painted it out to be.
Also Cuphead is on Steam and you can hook up your PS4 controller to it just so you know.
I've played some of AHiT. It's fun, but felt a bit off. I'll get back to it some day, hoping there's a patch to fix that. I never played the original FFXII, but have a huge boner over the license and gambit systems. Customization's my favorite part of RPGs, so my mind is swimming with the possibilities. I will say though, they have the old and remastered soundtrack and the new one is a lot better.
I really need to get back to Prey. I'll do it once I finish Final Fantasy XII. And Wolfenstein: TNC. And Divinity: Original Sin 2. Good thing most of January's barren.
They're is, but it's all for side quests that mostly don't offer exclusive rewards. You can get rupees or weapons that you could also find just doing the main game.
Good idea. Bare minimum you should have a second circle and about six or seven hearts total before you take a stab at a dungeon.
I feel the same way with a lot of games. That was why Breath of the Wild was so refreshing. You saw something with the binnoculars that looked interesting, went there, discovered what was there, then moved on to the next area.
