I think all of them are pretty decent, but I've only seen this one. I was surprised that it was as good as it was; I mean, MK has some weird things, but this movie didn't feel out of place.
I feel ya. Especially the ending (so disappointing and sad). What I didn't like about this movie was the fact that it didn't feel like FF in the least. You could have slapped any old title on this movie and it would have felt fine, because FF this is not.
I don't think anybody dislikes Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. She did a great job. How cool would it have been if they could have pulled off an Indiana Jones-style movie with a female lead? That would have been awesome! But I guess what we got was okay.
That's because children will watch anything and are not very picky when it comes to the value of a movie. A child will not point at a movie and say, "The plot is terrible, the main character is under-developed, and the action is so cheesy!" Yeah, most kids won't say anything like that. I'm sure their target audience here was kids, but that doesn't mean they can be lazy and give us an uninspired film.
I once ready through the SF manga, and it was really good! Honestly, SF would have been better as a TV series so they could flesh out the story and characters, but of course, it would have to be done right. I agree that Ryu should have been the main focus of the movie, not Guile. Ryu has always been the main character of the SF series.
No, I agree, Angelina Jolie is the best thing about this movie. And it's a very exciting movie, but it still fails to deliver, which is such a shame considering Tomb Raider is perfect for movies.
I think his speech was a cool part of the movie. He wasn't going to give in no matter what; he was set on leaving to save the hostages. That was great. The rest of the movie, however....
I remember thinking when Brawl came out, "What, Mega Man's not in this game?" I thought he should have been, so it's good to see him get his due. I've been a big SSB fan ever since the first game, so this game just might push me to finally get a Wii U. It looks gorgeous in HD too.
That's the second movie (which I haven't seen, but I will). Apparently that is the best part of the movie. Pretty awesome, Lara punching a shark and all. There's nothing spectacular like that in the first one though.
I haven't seen the sequel, but I'm going to (especially since it's supposedly better than the first one). Jolie is definitely the best part about the movie, even if she acts a little bit too "cool" for my tastes.
