It would get old in fighting games as well, but that's the one genre I'm curious to see how it turns out.
But I hear you.

I think a Street Fighter where you actually go around streets picking fights would be great.
I hate that so many racers went open world. Honestly, I would like a fighting game to do that, but I can't stand it in racing games.
I'm curious about Far Cry 5, but am going to wait for reviews.
Only game I've bought released this year so far is Shadow of the Colossus, though I'll likely get FighterZ at some point.
I'm fine if they would just bring back unlocking content by playing the game. Even if you're going to have DLC, at least give me a reason to play arcade mode beyond getting good enough to fight online, which is never going to happen. Apparently, Dragon Ball FighterZ lets you unlock characters that way, so I may still pick it up.
So I looked it up and a) a litchi is a small rounded fruit with a central stone and rough skin, so that's something new I learned today and b) I actually use professor Litchi a decent amount as well. Her fighting style is pretty unique and I got a handle on the stick mechanic more quickly than I expected. But yes, she is very boobs.
As for DoA: Volleyball, that was pretty much what I saw the Game Grumps do: fail to impress girls in the game with expensive gifts. I think you might get a chuckle or two out of that series given you've experienced that frustration firsthand, but then again I don't know if Game Grumps' colorful language would really be your thing. Also, I prefer them to most let's players because they're usually talking naturally, but that series probably has a lot of screaming delivery in it which I don't like ... Well, just throwing it out there.
Tina and Helena I have no clue about because I just don't play DoA. Seriously, this demo might be the only thing in the series I played aside from an arcade cabinet I don't recall the name of.
I mean, have you seen her anchor? She can definitely lift more than her body weight ...
Oh, well that's fine. As long as I still get my gimmicky fare.
I'm still excited to see what I think of Virtua Fighter 5 in Yakuza 6. April ... well, at least I'll have time to finish a couple Kiwami games.
I mean, Shantae is pretty sexualized as a character, just by nature of being a belly dancer in a revealing outfit, but that would get annoying. I don't think the developers overplay that aspect too much outside of her design.
Yeah, 2015 was the first year I really wanted to play a PS4 game (Arkham Knight) as well, and even though it was also on XBOX ONE, I figured the timed DLC in PS4's favor was a sign of thid party favoritism toward Sony to come. I have never been more right.
The only game you listed I have played is Mortal Kombat X, of which I bought the XL version on sale the next year.
I probably spent more time on physical activity as well, even if this giant list doesn't make it look like it; as I told Snee, Arkham Knight was far and away my main game for this year, while a lot of stuff on this list are PS+ titles and demos I rarely, if ever played.
See, that actually is a turn-off for me; I kinda like the 3D gimmick. I would want more games to use it.
But I also want to play all of the 3DS Zelda games, so there's that.
