Yeah it was interesting, but hard! Still good, though. But not as good at Pac-Man: CE. Did you know that Namco was going to make a third game in this series based on their classic game Metro-Cross? It was going to be called Aero-Cross.

What can I say? Strong women are my weakness. :) There isn't a dedicated dodge button, but I am impressed how snappy the controls are. You can hit people who are flying in the air multiple times and it feels very satisfying. Definitely one of the best parts of the game is the play control.
Funny you should mention Captain Commando and Baby Head, since my last blog was about that.
I'm working on reviewing Streets of Rage 4 right now. Can you guess who my favorite character is?
If you like Twinbee, check out Twinbee Yahoo. I think it was the last Twinbee game the made and it was for the 10th anniversary of the franchise. It's really good. Did you know there was a Twinbee anime?
Armored Warriors was great. It's amazing how a new coat of paint can make the same old genre seem fresh. Capcom's sprite art is always great.
Yup, and I'm working on reviewing a new beat 'em up right now! Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint: it's a sequel to one of the best games on the Genesis, and it hasn't ha a sequel in more than 20 years! Can you guess my favorite character in it, too?
I think both Capcom and Konami have beat 'em ups that have aged well and some that haven't. For instance, when I got TMNT on Xbox LIVE on my 360, I didn't feel it had aged as well as I remembered it. But when I got The Simpsons on Xbox LIVE, it was a lot better than what I remembered it being.
I think the game is more fun to watch than to play. My brother had the sequel on the SNES. I like the cartoon a lot, too.
I got Cosmic Star Heroine on Switch on sale for 2 bucks! I read about how you were playing it and decided to get it since it was so cheap.
I got a bunch of other games on sale this month, too! Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle, three Konami collections, and the PS4 Taiko game for less than ten bucks each almost! I'll be writing blogs about each of those collections, with the first one going up later today.
I reviewed Ninja Saviors a while back.
That's cool that you made that! I could never do that!
When I was in college, I had MAME arcade emulators, as well as NES and Genesis ones. But I took them off my computer soon after that because I was afraid I'd spend too much time playing all those classic games instead of studying! I really haven't messed with emulation like that since. Well, except for game collections you can buy.
For some reason, Thunder Force III didn't really stick out in my mind on the Genesis Mini. I think the graphics were a bit garish, but that's about all I can remember. I liked that Darius was on the Gensis Mini. That was a pretty impressive port! You know what shooter I wish were on the Genesis Mini? Gaiares. Man that one was good!
