I've stopped buying games on sales for the most part. I use the wish list on Xbox now instead. If the stars align right, I'll buy one of them, but only if I'm going to play it right away.
Good luck on your goals.

Madden on Rookie difficulty is basically "let the player win" mode. The opposition can't tackle you except in the last minutes of the game. Their quarterbacks miss throws like crazy. It's fun at first but then it gets old. I'm going to ramp up the difficulty next time.
All the classic RPGs were influenced by DnD, which was derived from Chainmail, which was a medieval warfare game. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Excalibur, Conan, the list goes on and on. What's with our obsession with medieval times?
That's cool. I always wanted to play the Pro Pinball games.
I got into video pinball with the Pinball Hall of Fame games that came out on Wii and Xbox 360. I still have them too.
I wanted to check out Wii Sports Resort but I never got it. My library may still have it though
I remember playing tennis in Wii Sports with another friend of mine. He got so darn good at it, no one could beat him.
I have a copy of that and it's now sitting on my countertop ready to be played.
I've been away from it for a few years, I think. I can't wait to see that stuff. I love simulated tables.
I was considering selling my copy of Wii Sports but my friend immediately grabbed it and said "no you don't" because of the bowling game. Is there another one that's better on Wii?
I definitely played Ten Pin Alley back in the day but not the Animaniacs one.
There is a Ren fair near me that I've been to, but it was years ago. I always mean to go back again sometime. I remember I saw a book there on how to speak Elizabethan English, which I learned a little bit of when I was in a Shakespeare play once. I think it's fun to learn interesting dialects. I'm terrible at languages though.
I'm really enjoying DQ XI. I'm going to try to 100% it.
Space Invaders Forever sound interesting but my favorite from that time right now is Lunar Rescue. I wish they'd put that out again with an additional modern version.
Is Pinball FX3 doing simulation tables now? I just downloaded all my pinball games to play this month and I was going to save FX3 for last because it was all video game pinball tables.
I'm curious about Sakura Wars after researching the franchise a few months ago.
