For the record, that SMB 3 playbit won't be tonight, either. It'll be next week. I have to get through World 8!

Oh, it was just one guy on an aggregate site that linked to the review. It's a fun topic to laugh at and mention every once in a while. Essentially, because he thought I was part of the "Lizzie MacGuire" generation of the Disney channel, it meant I knew nothing about Disney history. He made sure to note he hadn't played the game yet.

I got the most flames about Epic Mickey because I suggested watching the game's youtube channel and skipping forward to the interesting parts and places, rather than playing it. Such a sad, bad game.

The problem with my misunderstanding of how you feel about Dead Space probably stems from the fact that I don't see much of the appeal of either Dead Space or Resident Evil. Oh well.

And never don't press X to Jason.

More locations will be announced closer to the dates of the tour. I would assume they'll probably pick up something in New York and another location, like Jacksonville, in Florida, for instance.

Disney Announces Epic Mickey 2

The first one did have two real problems: The first was that Warren Specter and Junction Point were very misleading over the game's content. With phrases like "Playstyle matters," when, in fact, there were rarely any real consequences to how one would play the game, it was clear the developers were acting as salesmen pushing a product, rather than just relaying information about the game.

The next problem wasn't just the fetch-quest galore. It's that no aspect of the game seemed enjoyable. Combat was far too simple, platforming felt dull and uninspired. The worlds, themselves, didn't have that "Disney Magic" one would expect. Aside from the boss fights, I felt like there was nothing this game did better than several platformers on the N64 in every term. You can go click on "Disney Epic Mickey (Wii)" on the right there to see my review, but it really needed a lot more in every aspect besides a reduction of fetch quests to be a decent game.
