I highly doubt it. 2D Mario is pretty simple, but I'm not sure we'd ever see a Super Mario 64/Super Mario Sunshine/ Super Mario Galaxy level editor, but I would never say never.
I did see the SMM stage! It looks awesome. I like how it always changes. Honestly I would be bummed if all they did was the lost levels. I really don't think it would be hard to implement putting the ice flower as a shake option in the flower power up. Also even when you do get everything there is a whole row at the bottom. I hope that it gets filled with enemies or something. They could even expand it.

Definitely! I forgot. What good is a shy guy amiibo mushroom if ya can't also have SMB2!? Plus the pick up mechanic ccan be done. I mean you can pick up shells in the game so why not veggies?
