Well it's been a long time since I played it. I ran away from thieves most of the time because the reward wasn't big enough to spend the time to fight them. Plus I had places to be, planets to save, etc.

Do you have any Animal Crossing amiibo? You won't be able to play Amiibo Festival without them.
I never played Bayonetta 2. The first one got too violent for me.
DKC: Tropical Freeze is way too hard. I couldn't beat the mine cart boss. Hate mine cart levels.
In my opinion, Star Fox Zero is one of the worst games Nintendo ever made.
Super Mario 3-D World is very good, at least.
Breath of the Wild is so long! Too long, really. i spent 65 hours on it and beat it, and I didn't even scratch the surface of all the stuff you could do in that game!
Bowser's Inside Story is one of the best of the Mario RPGs and one of my favorites, second only to Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I played it again on the 3DS remake earlier this year, but the DS version is just as good.
I'm probably one of the only people in the world who didn't like Earthbound. Everyone has unpopular opinions and that's one of mine. But I'm always willing to give it a second chance. I did get Earthbound Beginnings on the Wii U. Didn't like it either because it had many of the same qualities that drove me away from other NES RPGs. If Nintendo released Mother 3 or if I found it for 20 bucks like you did, I might give it a try.
At least you don't have to fly through rings in Starlink.
I think the only game where I enjoyed flying through rings was Pilotwings. Not even NiGHTS Into Dreams could get it right.
Cotton candy is colorful, but not in an appetizing way.
Yeah there is a surprising amount of depth to Starlink. It's like Skylanders for older players. It can get a little repetitive later on though. Too bad you don't have the Switch version and then you could do the Star Fox missions!
I wish GOOD self driving cars actually existed. By the time they are perfected, I'll probably be too old to use one!

You should give KOF ALL STAR a try! It's one of the better mobile games I've played.
I've got all my Christmas presents bought and wrapped, so I don't have to worry about last minute shopping. I do work retail, though, so I know what you mean! Luckily I work in the plumbing section of a major hardware chain, so I don't have to worry about too many Christmas shoppers. Most people don't give toilets as presents. :)
