Well I'm a lot more boring than you, but I'm OK with that! You can check out GamerDad to see some of the games I'm playing and reviewing, but currently the ones I'm enjoying most right now are Luigi's Mansion 3 and New Super Lucky's Tale.

IV is vastly improved from the others.
I wasn't THAT into Earthworm Jim back then. Like I said, I enjoyed watching it more than playing it. But it seemed to be very popular all around me at the time, so I was familiar with it that way. I rented the first one a couple of times, and my brother Jeff had the sequel on his SNES, and we watched the cartoon. I never played the N64 Earthworm Jim 3-D game, though.
I remember reading about one of the creators of Earthworm Jim speaking out against Nintendo because they released Donkey Kong Country on the same day that Earthworm Jim was released on the SNES. That guy was like, "How are we supposed to compete with that?" He's not wrong. Nintendo's a great company, but they do things like that sometimes. They ain't perfect.
There are a surprisingly large amount of Sherlock Holmes games. I wish we could've gotten the "Sherlock Holmes vs. Phoenix Wright" games they released in Japan.
I just finished reviewing a farming sim game myself that's a little more my speed.

Yeah it used to be money that kept me from playing a lot of games I wanted, but now it's not enough time! Being an adult sucks sometimes.
I hope The Dark Crystal Tactics game isn't too hard. I liked the show so much that I want to play the game now, even if I don't like tactics games.
As I've gotten older, I've been leaning more toward action RPGs as well.
Hopefully you get to play Luigi's Mansion 3 soon! That game has so much personality! There's talks about Illuminaiton making a Mario movie, but I don't know why they don't do a Luigi's Mansion movie instead. Way more movie material to work with in that one.
I'm working on reviewing a 3-D platformer your wife might like. It's called New Super Lucky's Tale. I've been enjoying it so far, much, much more than I did A Hat in Time.
Yeah, but mostly action RPGs. The best of the RPGs will be in the next blog!
Lot of good stuff if you're a Genesis fan.
