I agree with all of your points. The consensus from forums on Microsoft's hush money strategy is to portray XONE as a gaming console and distancing itself from the "all-in-one" media box they showed last month. It would also give the appearance that MS has more games than Sony, when players on the floor try out games they will write as played on and Xbox, for example. Also, when Diablo 3 was announced for PS3, did people forget that the game had that obnoxious always-online built into the game? Is the PS3 version going magically let you play offline all of a sudden?

Im not trying to hate either way, I'm looking at it as a consumer, but a lot of xbox fans were like MS can save it if its all about games at E3, nevermind the policy thing. 

Rogue Squadron and Battlefront games were pretty good too. KOTOR is awesome though.

Most of the emulators for Saturn are shitty. I've been wanting to go out to a used game shop and buy one for myself. It looks like used games might become my new hobby, assuming the economy every shifts in my favor. 

So are we all willing to forgive these new policies in exchange for shiny graphics? I'm not really sure how much of all this internet rage actually reflects customers. The thing is that now Microsoft when asked about these policies they defer you to the publishers. So now it's the publishers to blame? Should we hate Konami and Bungie equally as MS?

Dammit Gamer Girl. I just posted the video for the new Lightning Returns trailer and praised the new game play. My only gripe is that there is no Leona Lewis this time around. We are like Caius and Lightning forever disagreeing.
 

Calm down. It's only a rumor. We will wait and watch E3 and see how many third party games Sony actually shows on stage.

yeah. no confidence. there is another thread on reddit talking about how PR companies have taken to reddit and downvote negative responses to XONE and adding comments presenting MS policies in a positive light. I'm sure it's common practice for companies to do this sort of thing, but isn't it better to listen to complaints and provide feedback to customers rather than dismissing them and repeating bullet points from a brochure?
