I just noticed that tag on the Villager Amiibo says "AHAHAHA"! That's hilarious.

Dude...love the Amiibo comic cover. So acurately parallels reality.
I thoroughly enjoyed Civil War. I thought it was time evenly spent between action and plot development. Airport scene made the movie for me. And yeah, I'm a Marvel movie fan. I like them because the characters tend to be relatable, but not bogged down with too much melodrama either.
The movie worked for me because it was able to fit in so many characters without completely overshadowing any one person. Also, Black Panther was all biz. I'm really looking forward to seeing Chadwick Boseman in his own Black Panther movie in a couple of years.
The Ratchet & Clank remake kinda makes me want a PS4 now. Dang it Sony!
This isn't Nintendo's first Humble Bundle. They put out another one about 6 months or so ago. I took advantage of it because it included Guacamelee.
I don't remember the original R&C having so many gameplay issues. I remember it being a ton of fun and highly praised in most mags. But it's probably a case where the sequels improved on the gameplay mechanics so much that it made the first game's problems all the more glaring in retrospect.
At any rate, I finished the PS2 trilogy at some point last year and now I purchased all of the PS3 R&C games. I'm really looking forward to getting started with Tools of Destruction and so forth. This remake may convince me to get a PS4 sometime down the road.
Great review.
I remember whem brother got Super Mario Land shortly after recieving his Game Boy as a middle school graduation gift. I always thought Mario Land was pretty good. But I remember being disappointed that Fire flower shots didn't work the same way they did in Super Mario Bros. Otherwise, I enjoyed Mario Land.
Yeah, I end up playing the the unlockable of Metroid on Zero Mission a lot too just for convenience. Though the graphics look slighty squished in comparison to playing it on a TV.
Dude, I just noticed how much easier Ridley is to beat than Kraid when I played Metroid for review this time around. Ridley stands on a higher platform than Samus, he's perfecetly level with her arm cannon which makes it easier to lob missile at him quicker that he can fire back.
I gotta hand it to your friend-- he was really trying to make sense of how Samus could have been a man. In his defense, Metroid was released back in teh hair metal days when long haired male rockers were quite common. But there's no denying...dat's a lady in that suit.
I got it ASAP last week. So excited this actually happened.
Hey, I went back and read your previous posts about the earlier gaming experiences. Very interesting read! I look forward to learning more about the earlier days of gaming that pre-dated my foray into the NES.
