Man I wish I had the means to play that game. Luckily I'm starting Ys 7 for the psp which is an rpg I've wanted to play for a REALLY long time.
A lot of people I know seem to have problems with Assassin's Creed III, especially the ending. (And to a lesser extent how they handled the tutorial and the objectives) I admit to me "Black Flag" looks a lot more interesting. Pirates 4 the win,aye?
Ys 7 is fun so far,Cary! I love the how the exploration and combat remind me of Secret Of Mana & even the earlier Zelda games. However, I'm not that far in. Only up to the point Adol & Dogi find the first dragon glypth and fight the giant two headed turtle boss. lol.
If he's doing rank 9 quests he's in the "Burst content",Aaron. I haven't done the expansion yet but I really loved the main storyline which was mostly about Shio and the ark project.
I really hate to be cynical too,Beer-fan. It's not if I want to be the pessimistic snark jeering in the corner! However, microsoft isn't giving me much in the way of "optimism" to work with.
Finally I count shout orders to my game console as if it's a woman in an abusive relationship with me! "Turn on Xbox one,you dumb b&tch!" (Long ackward silence) Actually, I never really wanted to be an abusive dude bro with a wife-beater T-shirt. I'm not even fond of raising my voice beyond soft decibals. Er, guess this new console is appealing to a fringe demographic I myself do not belong to.....
I hope I'm proven wrong,guys. However, so far I'm not impressed by what I know of the Xbox One and I'm even a bit distrusting of the PS4 though yeah,it seems like the better deal so far.
