I'm not sure. I like Ric's work better than Vic. Maybe.

I'm going to have to hurt you fro saying that Kyle. A few good games just came out on the Wii in the last month or so!
One thing I left out of my review that some might care about is that classic Sonic gets the homing attack partway through the game. The idea of the homing attack is pretty despised in a classic-Sonic game by a lot of people, especially after Sonic 4: Episode 1. For some, the inclusion will be a slap in the face, but the reality is that it's needed pretty sparingly, and only in cases where it would be used in the original stage that was used to inspire the new classic Sonic stage.
Traditionally, like with Final Fantasy X, the way releases work with Final Fantasy often go like this:
Japanese version
North American version/PAL version
International version
How's that work? The Japanese version comes out, and while it's being translated into English and other languages, new content, like bosses, are added. Then, after the real international release, the game receives an "International Version" in Japan with all the bonuses in the North American version and then some. I believe some, if not all of the weapons (Ruby, Emerald, etc.) were added into FFVII, were first in the NA version. In Kingdom Hearts, the Sephiroth fight was added into the NA version, then brought back over to Japan with Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.
Anyway, my point is that there is a chance the International version won't be localized in North America, and it could just mean Hajima Tabata is working on a better Japanese version. Still, it would be odd to not have the international version release anywhere else than Japan. I'm just saying it's possible he's referring to the second, expanded Japanese release of the game.
I'm not sure I understand why they'd do this. Unless Ubisoft really wants Assassin's Creed to become a cultural phenomenon, there's not much point, as far as I can tell.
I didn't check out any brick and mortar stores, I'm just saying what I saw online: 360 Bundles offered a ton of savings, extra games, and add-ins at lower prices than everything else. I was on the look out for a good PS3 deal, since Chris is the one that owns one, not me. Unfortunately, there weren't any that were competitive with the 360 bundles out and about.
Those are some big numbers, I have to say. Balancing this out, I saw mostly 360 and Kinect sales browsing websites for great Black Friday deals. Tons and tons of massive savings seemed to be available everywhere. The Wii had several great deals, too, but nothing near the magnitude that Microsoft had. As for the PS3... there weren't all that many solid discounts out there. Maybe that's why we've only seen Nintendo and MS's numbers?
I felt like most of the additions outside of the new characters were changes that would normally be patched into a fighting game at this point. The new characters are fun and great, but I feel like this battle system isn't as solid as the one used in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, even with its imbalances. Mega Crash + Baroque feels a lot better than X-Factor, even when TvC only had two characters on a team as opposed to three.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I pretty much completely agree with JD here. Both games received the same score, and of course I'd recommend Ultimate MvC3 over the original in all areas aside from price at this point, but in my book, neither game pushes itself out past that.
No! I can't handle finding any more silver coins. No more silver coins... No more silver coins...
Hey! Hey! The plastic is shaped different, too!
