I really don't get much of anything Nintendo does when it comes to digital content in general. It's not surprising to me that they put so little memory AND didn't have any option to put in a proper internal drive. This is the same company still "figuring out" a proper account system in 2013. -_-
32GB is absolutely pitiful if you're going to be taking advantage of the digital content, though. You could get a 500GB external drive for around $50.
But yeah, $350 was going to be an issue from the moment Sony announced a $400 price point.
To be honest, I don't expect it to have a lasting impact either. It just seems like something they had to throw out there so they could say "Zelda on WiiU in 2013!" But it is going to be one of the biggest launches for the console this year.

When has it ever settled, though? It's simply a worse version of what happens on a regular basis anyway. It's never going to stop.
In fact, I expect it to get ten times worse once the games are actually out, and we start seeing proper reviews and sales figures. :/
I suspect it's a cheap way to show that there's still developer interest outside Japan. It'll likely be Japanese devs who end up providing most of the bigger releases. It was the same for the PSP--only it didn't happen nearly as fast on that. :/
It's Sony's damn fault for pushing the thing as a "console in your pocket". :p
What subjects are covered on the test? How long is it? Just curious, since it sounds pretty big if they give you a whole lunch break in between.

Pretty much. Can't wait for Yatagarasu--the game is great on PC. Other than that, though, I went into E3 and Gamescom excited about Killzone, FFX and Batman: AA...and still pretty much feel that way after both showings. I've heard more exciting announcements outside of Sony's conferences for the Vita (Yatagarasu, new Dynasty Warriors) than during them.
And the 32GB card is still WAY too expensive. Even at $50 it'd still be a ripoff, frankly, but I'd still be willing to pay that.
Great exclusives would do a better job of getting people to buy one. Hell, the price-cut makes a much better case IMO.
