The music is in fact one of the better aspects of God Eater Burst so my hat is off to Go Shiina!
FF6 was the height of Final Fantasy perfection for me! (That includes the music. Yes, I'm impossibly old and set in my ways!)
Whenever shows are cgi heavy I always think "Hmmm, this is going to get prematurely cancelled!" As such, I was surprised Eureka lasted as long as it did. Every episode had pretty heavy digitally created special effects.
I also agree it's easier for shows to save money and keep an audience invested with good characterization. It's not all about eye-candy. For example, Final Fantasy has always looked beautiful but not every FF had good characters and a good story-line. (Yes, I used a game to compare TV shows. My credibility is shot!)
As for fighting games, I have fun with them but I'm not obsessive compulsive enough to try mastering them. lol. (Okay, maybe during the arcade days I was a tad more devoted)
Ha! Ha! Ha! It's a likely possibility. However, I do think there really are elitist-Japanese-trolls just as there are elitist-trolls from everywhere else. (My faith in humanity as a whole isn't always the best. I blame the internetz!)
