eh, tbh, from my understanding of the avg salary that those guys made, I doubt it! besides it wasn't his place, just going off and doing the right thing in a corporation can still get you fired (big corp's are ass backwards I know).
I think he and the others did the best they could within the limits they were given. Its sad to see it go, but really I think they tried there best! My hope is to see a new "1up" some day when things are better in the industry.
lets not forget the hipsters and the occpy people too! oh and the zealously christian, and atheists! and pretty much every other religion because they said it was "good/bad" and "right/wrong!"
I completely agree, its becoming soooo boring...This is my problem with AAA titles, they kick the titles ass until they can't get a drop of blood out of it! honestly if Ubisoft spent some cash and developed a new IP (*cough* like Bethesda does*) the gaming landscape would be sooo much more interesting!
I am pretty sure 2 of those things are "Activision" and "EA" followed closely by the current CEO's of those companies..

I agree 100%, though I don't think its beneath them to try something to get more cash, its part of their business model now!
I get the feeling its starting to go that direction. This all started with "Horse Armor" and is going to continue! we've seen DLC which many believe should have been included from the start because it effects the story of a game in some way. I honestly feel that its a way to pull more cash unfairly from people...do I think non-essential cosmetic things or shortcuts are ok? sure! that doesn't effect anything but the time and look of your game. I just don't think it will stop there.
YOu know... I do brew my own beers over the summer <.< I may have to bottle that stuff up and toss a few erm..labels on it! but that probably won't happen until the wife and I finally buy a house this year.
you forgot to blame the public school system! I mean c'mon everyone blames the public school system (<--is a product of the public school system). oh! then the private ones for being private and taking away from the public ones!
