I read interveiw with Randy Pitchford not long ago and he said Borderlands 3 will be a next gen game. But they want to keep folks interested in the series, so we get a cool spin-off. I'm going to be torn as hell seeing as this will likely come out around the same time as Destiny. No sleep for me.
Yeah, the more I see the more excited I am. The new gameplay mechanics are going to be crazy.
Yeah, Borderlands 1 was a bit glitchy. Never lost any saves, but I had it freeze several times, had a car levitate up off the ground after I got out and could not get back in. Glitchy as shit.lol
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm kind of the same way with the Uncharted games. I'm sure they are great but for some reason they just don't grab my attention.

I Believe Borderlands 3 will be next gen for sure. This game just came out of nowhere.
I think a lot of folks over look it like "oh, another FPS" but its really unlike most shooters. The RPG lelements have more to do with how you build your charater but its not permanent, you can resets skill points. The enviroments in the first Borderlands were pretty static, desert, junk everywhere. BLD 2 really did a good job mixing it up. You have tundra, desert ,mounatainous highlands, and some even more enteresting stuff in the dlc campaigns. Seems like most people either love these games or hate them. Ihave never been a big FPS guy but I really like these games.

The strat guide is the size of a phone book, so I should have realized what I was getting myself into. To say Skyrim is massive is an understatement. But its pretty easy to jump back in without feeling too lost.
I have not played this game since it originaly came out so its a bit foggy. But I had some of the same issues. The lack of real stats for weapons always annoyed me. Blitzball, I really tried to figure it out but it seemd like the other team was always over powered compared to my team and I could not win enough to get my team better. Toward the end I think I focused on Auron and the Summoner, along with blondie. Honestly this is my least favorite FF game for some of the very issues you just mentioned. Getting all the ultimate weapons is damn near impossible. You will see what I am talking about when you get to that point. Anyway if your enjoying it, thats all that matters. I have "issues" with this game, so please try to ignore my jaded bitterness.lol
