I hear you about the busy part. I have been doing something every weekend for the past month, usually music-related, but last night purely social. I'm waiting for the snow to fall to play Tales of Xillia. There's just something about spending a snowstorm tucked inside safe and warm with a good rpg.
I think he may be in a 12 Step program, lol.
I'm going to pick up a 2ds tomorrow. I probably shouldn't, but I have some money put aside in my savings account and a gift card. It will probably be my last big purchase until late next spring.

I read The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games, but he was always a little too techie for my tastes. Hunt For Red October is one of my favorite movies ever, though. One case of the movie being better than the book, in my opinion. Tom Clancy actually hand-picked Alec Baldwin for the part of Jack Ryan, and when they cast Harrison Ford for the rest of the Jack Ryan movies, he refused to have anything more to do with the movie adaptations.
Oh, hey! I've actually seen Rawhead Rex! I think it fell into the so-bad-it's-good category for me. I may check out Pumpkinhead if it's on Netflix.

I really need to finish the first Uncharted game. Maybe I can get little brother Michael to come over and get me through the shooting bits that I get stuck in. I hate dying over and over and over again.

I'm pretty ambivalent about the next gen. Plenty in my backlog to keep me occupies for years to come, and there haven't been many announced games that have really grabbed my attention. I'm good until they roll out the price drops, lol.
