The good thing is that The Maw is also avaiable on Steam, so anyone with a competent PC shouldn't have a problem with that.
A Jazz Jackrabbit collection would be cool, although it depends if Epic Games (their developers!) still have the rights or they dropped it. That series along many other old PC games have become what it's now known as Abandonware, caused either due to a drop on the copyrights by the original owners, the original owners not existing anymore and/or because the software is too outdated for modern machines. Due to that, titles in that category are often share for free and played with emulation like DOSBox and in fact, The Internet Archive now has a collection of Abandoware that includes Jazz among them. Of course, there's some legal debate about Abandonware in general...
Anyway, I think my two favorite Indie characters have to be The Kid from Bastion and Meat Boy from Super Meat Boy.
