Yeah, this one had the typical frustrations of a "Part 2" but at least stuff is happening. I was getting caught up last week, so I watched episode 8 right after this one. Love that mid-season length!

I missed your review when it first hit but Transmet kept saying how great this game is, so here I am. Based on your review, I think I'd like this a lot
Whoa, this is really cool! It's like rogue video game art lol. They must put them up in the middle of the night or something.
Holy cow, the difference is crazy
I generally prefer instrumental over vocal, so I tended to like those tracks more. Good stuff all around though. I thought the Russian Roulette song was alright the first time I heard it (never seen Kill Bill, sorry) but I liked it more the second time when I watched the music video.
That's how I feel about Fire Emblem lol. It's the perma death, really, but I guess you can turn that off in Awakening...? You should definitely give SMT IV a chance. It's tough at the beginning when you have to recruit your first demons but once you get the hang of negotiating it's not bad at all.
I'm still working my way through Shin Megami Tensei IV. It had been slow going because I was only able to find time to play on the weekends but I think that's starting to change. I have FE: Awakening, too, and thanks to that $30 eShop credit I have Shantae and the Oracle games. Not sure what I'll tackle after SMT IV.
A reboot would sure be interesting. I'm not even sure who holds the rights at this point. Naughty Dog moved on a long time ago.
Yeah, I think Treyarch is only CoD now. Looks like (according to Wikipedia) that the last time they did something else was 2008.
I played Spider-Man 1 and 2 on the GameCube, which were both good (first one was level-based and the second introduced an open world) and my younger brother raves about Ultimate Spider-Man, but I have not heard good things about that third movie tie-in. Granted, I haven't played it but I hope it's at least good for achievements for you. For current-gen Spidey I'd feel safer going with Beenox's two games, Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time.
