I've never been sold on super realism either. While I can admire artists that have a perfect grasp of anatomy, most of my favorite illustrations tend to be exaggerated or otherwise otherworldly.

In my mind "Adventure Time" deserves to be respected every bit as much as a painting by Boris Vallejo or Frazzeta.

Guess my perspective of "art" may seem wacky to most people. lol.

New Statue!

Millia Rage in all her hair spinning glory! The Dizzy statue looks super fine too. Arc Systems should make a new Guilty Gear but I think the creative director said some bullocks along the lines of "Guilty Gear fans are too old to play games anymore & Blazblue is this gen's equvilent of it!"

Don't get me wrong, I like Blazblue too I just think the above is a weak ass ill informed excuse to stop making Guilty Gear games.

Silent Hill Downpour

Been wanting to check this out awhile. I just have the nagging premonition I'm grown too old and jaded for games to scare me anymore. To compound the issue we haven't gotten many true survival horror games this generation to begin with! As much as I enjoyed RE 6 (I'm still going back to it) I wouldn't call it scary. I've been missing the Fatal Frame frachise in particular.

It really seems like Downpour is a decent entry in the series though. I also like the fact it opens up and lets you explore some. You also perked my interest in the characters.

PS: Dead Space "did" actually scare me and I'd also highly recommend Alan Wake and Deadly Premonition! You can't go wrong with those three! Cream of the crop!

Xbox Next always online = Fool's game.

Word on the net is Orth is no longer with microsoft. lol. You would think someone involved with public relations and company politics would be more suave and subtle but it's amazing how many idiots get high position jobs.

I've also been wondering if this is some kind of publicity stunt or a way microsoft could test the waters with a sacrificial lamb. After all, all they have to say is "Microsoft does not condone or approve of what was said and we're doing our best to address the problem". Aka, we got Orth to fish for replies about an online only console and now we have our answer we can give him the axe. Companies rather have an individual be liable and take the fall for them.

I actually had no problems with the playstation 1, playstation 2, snes, or nes. The only system I had to send back for maintenance was my 360. In its' defense it's run like a champ since then.

I think so too. It's good Orth was let go and I can't feign being surprised over it.

It would be interesting having a special military unit that was all werewolves. With their heightened senses they would probably be good at search and rescue. Not to mention, putting a werewolf down is NEVER easy. Bad guys in general would be in for a nasty surprise!

A Little Silliness.....

Those parody Dr. Seuss illustrations are priceless. lol. Also got a chuckle out of the Super jail/ Spoonge Bob cross over.

The "gamer girl comparison" is good for lulz as well! (A bit homophobic at the bottom  but considering I crack jokes about Chris Redfield & Wesker secretly being gay besties I don't have much of a right to judge, heh!)

It's just when I think forests and snow I also think about wolves. That's sort of how Dwayne got his element!
